It's always upto the individual to aspire more and get something which fits their budget. Practically speaking yes this is more than you'd ever need to do everything 'legally'. I wish to own bigger bikes (800-1000cc) in near future but it's an aspirational thing and not something that's a 'need'.

@@kirtishacharya9070 That's a recipe for disaster. No-one should ever take that bigger jump. I've owned a 180 then a 390 then moved to a 650 and now am thinking of getting a second bike which could be a 800-1000cc. Jumping the ladder can be fatal. This bike NS400 is actually an amazing product for that price and 100% VFM.

Yes that's true but if someone wants to spend money on a performance bike like this, they would want it to stand out and demand road presence. The NS tag has become very old now and diluted to 160 cc which is terrible for Bajaj. Bajaj should have done something to make this bike stand out.

Not for some but ALL 250cc. Like nobody in their right mind would buy Gixxer 250, CB300f, Apache 310 anymore (not that anyone was buying them even now since they were hardly selling in mere 3 digits). R15 will continue to sell because it's very unique.

Cheaper that Gixxer 250 and Bajaj N250 Dual ABS (which admittedly has less power and one less gear than Gixxer) is priced at 151k .... 2k more than TVS Apache 200 Dual ABS and 17k cheaper than Ronin Dual ABS ) not to forget that TVS is also a VFM brand.

Very average review by autocar they didn't even mention about the adjustable levers, hazard lights, nothing about ergonomics, no proper review of the speedometer and the functions it offers like MID, lap timer etc.

@@MonsterKing8Hero 😂... Bro hero sales are already plummeting. Honda and TVS have captured the scooter market. 125cc market also Shine, SP and Raider. Xtreme 125 is too niche and Glamor and Super Splendor are not selling much so 125cc segment also done. The only segment Hero is dominating is 100cc (97cc to be honest) but only by loyalists. Shine 100 and Radeon have finally started to put a dent in (still very strong ) fort of Hondas Holy Trinity - HF Deluxe, Splendr and Passion which is bought by ppl who never ever care to read specifications of a bike. The narrowing gap of Honda and Hero has come to a mere 6000 units

I am considering buying this bike due to reduced weight of almost 10 KG compared to the Dominar(2016 Version), which over the years has started to put stress on my knee joints. I wish they have a stickerless model though. This one is gaudy. But again, looking at the overall package, this bike looks like a no brainer purchase. Less weight = more speed , better maneouverability, better braking (or less demanding brake components), easy to live with compared to the Dominar. For the newer generation who just turned 21 or more, you have no idea what 1.85L means for this motorcycle. The Dominar cost 1.83L on road 7 years back, so in today's times of inflation and rising component costs, this is an unbelievable bargain. On the manufacturing front, All the production and mechanical engineers out there will know, when it comes to lean manufacturing, Bajaj is unbeatable.

I have OG 2012 200NS. It came with 2 stickers on back panel which I removed. Look at Bajaj bikes from before 2014. They looked beautiful with almost no stickers.

Sir reply please for this question. The weight distribution 174kgs not properly placed on the chassis. While riding this bike we can feel the weight concentration so much on the front side and handle bar also vibrates more. This hampers ride quality and handling.

NS400 is a solid option for anyone venturing into the 400 cc segment.. Bajaj always has given affordable performance to us! Only one thing though: This bike is several years late in the game because originally, they should have launched this instead of Dominar and should have avoided posing it as RE competitor (haathi mat paalo ads were fun but Dominar wasn't as sporty as it could have been in a Pulsar guise)

The one problem this motorcyle has is the subtle changes in design. They should have been drastic like the headlamp, go all out keep the silhouette but change the panels and lights drastically thats what this bike needs. Also couldve given wider tank covers to make it feel more bulkier with the same tank

Agree that this is a insane bike with 0 to 60 in less then 3 seconds and 0 to 100 in less then 6 seconds; but the mileage will be the huge issue. With 20/25 kilometres per litre in the best case scenario, this will be a fuel monster. As for me I am the fan of Pulsar since 2002 when the very first of Naked 180 DTSI model came with the massive 18 litre tank, something today kids never saw in their entire lives. If I have to buy a Pulsar, then the Pulsar 150 will be first choice or NS 160 for the highway adrenaline rush.

Mt 15 is a 155cc motorcycle, whereas NS400 is a 400cc motorcycle. Your comparison doesn't make sense. Imagine paying ~2 Lakhs for a 155cc motorcycle
