Purdue University's Charles B. Murphy Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award is the highest undergraduate teaching honor, recognizing up to five recipients each spring semester year as models in excellent undergraduate education. Faculty with the rank of associate or full professor (including associate and full clinical professor ranks) are eligible. Each College receives the criteria and call for nominations every fall and each College is responsible for advancing nominees.
Dr. Jennifer E. Smith, clinical associate professor of special education in the College of Education Department of Educational Studies, received the Murphy awardee on March 19, 2024. Congratulations!
