Any chance we’ll get to see you test the Inline 6 Turbo S and Detuned Turbo for a comparison of 0-60 times?

I’ll keep that idea in mind! Thanks for the suggestion. 🙂

Considering this, a Suburu Ascent or a GMC Acadia. Any others I should consider?

I’ve not reviewed or driven the newest Acadia so I can’t speak to that. But I definitely like the focus on safety, competent AWD, and the value that Subaru offers. With that said I’d also check out the comparable Honda and Toyota as they’re probably very reliable options.

Hmm, isn’t this engine actually naturally aspirated?

Poop. You’re right! 😅 Not sure what happened there lol. Non turbo 2.5 185-189hp at 6k RPM and 184-192TQ at 4,000 RPM. Low range is regular fuel and high range is premium. The rest is the electric motor that adds 173HP at 5,500 RPM and 199TQ at 400 RPM. Edit: I cut the brief moment of calling it a turbo engine during the 0-60. Thanks for catching my mistake!

I think it’s a great looking vehicle, but it’s too big and too expensive for me

I agree. I’ll likely drive an inline 6 turbo model soon. I’m curious to see how their performance feels in comparison to the hybrid 4 banger.

@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 Ford dropped the 4.9L (300 in-line) 6cyl in 97 because Ford said it couldn’t pass emissions. Obviously Ford LIED to Everyone. Those 4.9L engines would last 500K if maintained properly.

Yup! And I didn’t mention it in the video but in another comment, the electric motor has about the same power output numbers as the NA 2.5 engine. Thanks for watching! 🙂

It sounds like a negative review just after 10 seconds of listening.

I apologize if it came across that way to you. It’s a cool car and worth test driving if you’re interested in one. 🙂

What's with all the pebble-grained hard plastic? At the price they want for this thing? Never. Looks very cheap from the driver's seat

I was joking about it but I will say it looks better in person than on video IMO. Also less likely to get scratched than a piano black trim piece. But still, it’s definitely a strange/unique design, lol. Thanks for watching! 🙂
