@DespoticDanks

I really think they just need to cut down the catchers mitt tree in the front middle. It would still be a difficult shot to make it to an easy birdie position, but at least there's a more balanced opportunity to get the tee shot in bounds so you can lay up for par.
@paulgillenwater5487
9 күн бұрын
@@DespoticDanks I agree, there is no such thing as a safe shot on the hole as it’s designed now. Either turn your drive too much and go OB or you power down and go straight into that grabby tree and are OB short. The only way to not bogey is to have a perfect shot
@untrustworthyshelfing9953

Thank you for saying so. This hole is total trash. Last year I felt the same way seeing the likes of Dickerson and Isaac and Simon going OB. To see this card, which between them can throw any shot in all of disc golf, take that score on a hole isn't fun for anybody. Honestly, just take out the OB. All those guys who hit the guardians will take a par, and if you get a birdie you feel great. I figured Simon made the point last year, but I guess the course designer was too arrogant.

Hole 16 is a joke. It was a joke last year when nobody on the lead cards could land the green, and it is a joke this year with the stupid, self-righteous drop zone. If Isaac, Simon, AB, and Paul are all taking over par on a par 3, your hole is screwed.

@@AlternativeStrings Respectfully, I think you're tripping. We just watched him birdie two holes this round that require elite distance. At worlds, on a wide open course, we were regularly seeing him with the long drive. He's got the most underrated distance on tour, in my opinion.
@Spartacus11
9 күн бұрын
Yeah I'd say he's up there. Not in the top 10, but up there. He does not have elite power, but he does have elite distance. His ability to work the disc on perfect flex lines makes up for the lack of raw power. If we're talking pure hyzers, he falls short. But with his technique he's certainly able to make it work no matter how long the hole is.

I like it. By far the best line is flex forehand and it is a generous line. Multiple ways to approach the hole and provide scoring separation. Players will learn this hole fast and in rounds 3 and 4 average will be a lot better. I might move OB by 2 feet, but fine as it is. In front 9 there is one shorter downhill hole. When it was played for the first time, players hated it because it was too difficult. Now it is almost must get birdie for them. They learned to play it.
