I went from a 21 gladiator rubicon and traded it in the other week for a brand new 23 gladiator Mojave. I love it. Even better since I’m the only one in the area with a high velocity

Such such a cool vehicle! So capable off-road, and I just love the look!

I once saw a video where a carmaker submerged the assembled car bodies in dionized water to remove impurities and then submerged the bodies in primer BEFORE going on to the paint shop, assuring that that there was no hidden bare metal that could rust. How many rusted-out gladiators are we going to see in a few years?😮😮

@@DartyTheAwesome1 Partly true: Gladiators have some aluminum parts (hood, doors, tailgate, and windshield frame.) The rest is still steel. Aluminum will corrode, especially if it is in direct contact with steel or if it is exposed to salt but not properly primed and painted. The appears to be a class action lawsuit against Jeep because of this problem.

I want a Gladiator badly. I just can't afford the one I want.

Look for a 23. Lots of places are taking $20000 off msrp of them.

now is the time to buy a 2023, just got a Mojave 30% of sticker.

@@bradjohnson5323 That's a pretty nice discount...if the MSRP wasn't too over-priced/inflated though to begin with so you get a "real" 30% off. Still, 30% certainly does suggest that now IS a good time to buy, and as Jeep struggles with all the new Jeeps piling-up on dealership lots not selling (because Jeep kept raising prices, and greedy Stealerships adding ADMs and "Market Adjustments" on top of high MSRPs). Back when I got my Gladiator (April 2021), the Mojave wasn't out yet...but even if it had been available since I was in Colorado (Springs) at that time the Rubicon seemed more "appropriate" for the assorted trails/mountain passes up there (and rock-crawling more likely) -- you know, "Rocky Mountain High." Where I am now (desert sands of West TX), the Mojave would make more sense. But since the Gladiator in general (meaning any trim/model) with its longer wheelbase is a comfortable & smooth-riding long road-trip vehicle, they're good ON pavement, too. And since mine is my ONLY vehicle, it's by default my Daily Driver also. Wish the city MPG numbers were better, but on the hwy they aren't too bad, and sometimes surprisingly good (for some segments of the entire trip). But overall on a long trip, I've found you pretty much can expect the official/EPA MPG numbers stated on the Monroney sticker. Could be worse...and I think the Chevy Colorado ZR2 (the OTHER "serious/off-road-focused 4x4" contender in the mid-size truck segment) IS worse...even if only a tad. ;-) -- BR

Damn thing leaks..
@billredding2000

You mean the rear window? Yes, some Gladiators certainly do leak -- mine (2021) did -- but fortunately discovered that just in time and got it replaced under warranty. Didn't notice it leaking so who knows how long it had been but having read about other Gladiator owners with leaking rear windows I went out to check mine one time after a rain. Yes, it leaked (in 3 spots). Seems like a serious design flaw and/or a poor glass-install at the factory. But from what I've read posted by other owners, when it's repaired at a glass shop the leaks don't happen again. It's a complete window & gasket replacement job because the window breaks into a million pieces during removal (so they can't remove the original glass and reinstall/reseal it). Took a while to get the glass, so not sure Jeep parts are as available as they should be by now (compared to previous shortages). If anyone has a Gladiator -- and it's still under factory warranty -- CHECK for any rear window leaks ASAP (do a leak test) and get it replaced BEFORE the warranty expires! -- BR
