As you say, it is an investment coz of it's uniqueness there will always be a ton of people wanting to buy one secondhand, and if you can manage the extra for 40th Anniversary Paint ,thats a future classic right out the crate. In the UK it's available in 2 KRT colours , green or black, and the 40th Anniversary Paint green/white/blue.

Pretty sure it’s common knowledge by now that it’s tuned to 50ish horsepower for America and Canada. Ecu flash can fix it but as someone who owns the bike I can attest that over 11k RPM it stops pulling. I figured you would notice that on a track. It’s blatantly obvious.

You could buy and race prep a ninja 400 and a z400 for the price of this one. I'm sure there's a market, but as a true learning tool, there are far more practical bikes. As a true racing bike, there are four more practical bikes. There's no real competition for this bike because there's no real place for it. If someone is buying it for street riding, there's dozens of more comfortable, more fun, more efficient, and less expensive brand new bikes.

Your SV1000 had a 90degree V TWIN engine in it. It did not have 4 cylinders. Just because yours was close to 1000 cc's does not mean the physical size of the entire motor was bigger. Surely you know that? Go watch the Fortnine video on the types of motors if you don't understand it. 4 cylinders means 4 of everything- 4 pistons 4 rods, 4 fuel injectors (possibly 8 if it has 4 valves per cylinder), 4 exhaust pipes. Added weight.
