Waikiki is located on the south shore of Honolulu and it was once the playground for Hawaiian royalty. Known in Hawaiian as “spouting waters”, Waikiki was introduced to the world when Moana Surfrider, the first hotel, was built in 1901. Nowadays, Waikiki is Oahu’s main hotel and resort area and an amazing gathering place for tourists from all around the world.
Here is where you will find the main strip of Kalākaua avenue, with the world-class shopping, dining, entertainment and resorts and they are all within 2 to 3 blocks from Waikiki beach.
Waikiki is within 30 minutes of a variety of Oahu’s main attractions like Pearl Harbor, Iolani Palace, Nu’uanu Pali lookout and the hanauma bay. Within the Waikiki you will also find Ala Moana Center, the world’s largest open air shopping center which we covered on a previous video, the local neighborhood of Kapahuly and the district of Chinatown.
Let's watch the video..you will love it. Thank you
