The 2024 Yamaha WaveRunner FX HO, now has 1.9-litre four-cylinder power, up from the previous 1.8-litre that has been a mainstay of the Yamaha range since 2008.
The new 1.9-litre resets Yamaha’s benchmark as the biggest capacity engine in the Jet Ski market today.
And it bridges the performance gap to Yamaha’s supercharged 1.8-litre engine.
In this video we cover Australian and US pricing for the 2024 Yamaha WaveRunner FX HO, go through all the key features, tell you what it’s like to ride - and do acceleration and top speed tests using precision VBox timing equipment.
We would like to extend a huge thanks to the team at Wollongong City Jet Ski - just south of Sydney - who loaned us the 2024 Yamaha FX HO to test over two weekends in early 2024.
