Good shooting Mr PJ. Looks like a nice offering from Hoyt. Seems like some mixed feelings in the comments. Ive been surfing AT and there has been some discussion about their target line up for 25. Seems like I'm the next few weeks foruns are going to start cooking. I'm thankful snd blessed. No desire or need to upgrade. Thanks for sharing PJ, we appreciate it sir.

Thanks for the review PJ. Two questions: 1. Hoyt have been using Cerakote as the finish on their target risers the last few years, yet this looks so shiny, have they gone back to just a paint finish? 2. The cams can be moved a little by changing the shims as you show at 7:26 in the video. Are the replacement shims included in the box? Thank you.
@LancasterArcherySupply

1. They have both options, but the target colors will be shiny. 2. The shims do not come with the bow. You have to get them through your dealer.

Tech riser equals no torque tuning which is pretty important in target archery. It’s better to torque tune you rest and ight together than just the sight.

How does the draw cycle compare to the svx cam? With the nec spec mod system they say it is the "new" svx cam. The reason we love those cams is the aggresivness of them how would you compare the draw with the spec mod compared to the other and the old svx cam? The backwall? And also the kick foreward. (I still use my invicta without dampening to get that kick foreward i felt that lacking in the stratos how does this feel in that regard?)
@pjreilly3997

So the spec mod is for specific draw lengths only. It is not different than the CDM, other than it is draw length specific. Since my draw is 30 and the CDM only goes to 29 on the 37, I didn’t shoot that module. I shot the C Spec mod, which gave me 30 inch draw. I shot the hard foot at 75% letoff…. I would not describe the draw as aggressive

Crazy how everyone has gone back to 2 cam bows. No more cam 1/2, no more single cam. No more weird asymmetrical binary cams. Just waiting for Desparts patent to expire and we’ll be back to Nitrous X cams.

Compound bows can only look SO different, in the end. Lot of bows, lot of years. Gonna be similarity and overlap - doesn't mean extensive engineering and design didn't go into this one.

exactly. You can only do reflex, d flex or neutral. Hoyt still has the most unique design with the tec riser and shoot through.

The Hoyt Concept lines of target bows are "special order" compounds. This means they build one when one is ordered - so we won't have a large physical stock of these in most cases.

When Hoyt first introduced the shoot through wait times were a year. Hoyt has historically had long wait times on target bows.

@@WolfinWolvesClothing713 it does not make it any less true. The riser looks like a PSE Dominator Duo X (down to the limb graphics) with a bridge, and the cams are the fixed split yoke Darton came out with years ago and have been licensing to PSE and a number of other companies. Is that specific enough for you?

I'd say it's a far shot from "most complicated cam ever." Either take the rotating mod if it fits your draw length, or choose the appropriate spec mod for your draw length. Can't go below the floor, and can't go above the ceiling.
