Our 2025 XLE AWD is at 1100 miles, just had its first oil change, and is on the third tank fill. The mpg calculated out to 48.6 mpg in Normal mode yesterday. Once broken in, by 2000 miles, I'll be trying ECO and seeing if I can get even better. However, compared with the Ford Escape Hybrid, the Toyota doesn't allow for much driver intervention to improve mpg like the Escape. So, we can just drive and get great mileage. Awesomely comfy, quiet and smooth ride. The brake feel is the best I've ever used.

I used to complain about MPG on my Camry. But what I discovered is the MPG get better the more miles you put on them. I'm on my 5th Camry. 2005 2012 2019 2020 and 2025 and I kid you not other than the 2019 which I only kept for 1 year every Camry I've had MPG increased at or around 70K miles. It's weird but they get better MPG the more miles you put on them.

Toyota dealerships in the USA do a good job of making the brand undesirable. Plus, their quality these days isn't what it used to be.

Local dealer wants more money for these than the Lexus dealer next door selling ES300h. Fully optioned out XLE over $42k US. Lease over $700/month. No thanks.

The XLE doesn't have the panoramic moonroof by default which is great as it is a potential source of water failure, you give up the sunglass holder, lower headroom additional cost, more noise. OH and unless clean your car every week the moonroof looks hideous when dirty. Other than that I'd highly recommend the moonroof for an additional $1300 if you have more money than common sense. Unfortunately it is required to get the ventilated seats and the mediocre jbl spl speaker "upgrade".

@@robertduklus6555 That's very interesting! I did not know that. Still I would pay extra NOT to have the moonroof.

Agree. For all trims, we can always upgrade car audio, improve seats after the purchase, but a moon roof is impossible. So if one feels the need, just add it😂

I don't think getting 36 miles to a gallon driving hard is terrible in any car. One this size makes it remarkable gas mileage. Just what I think.

Why do cars have grey interiors? It's repulsive. They should be black or black and white or black and cream. Otherwise, at least make it dark grey. Pale grey just looks cheap and wishy-washy.

toyota salesmen have to very busy selling these left and right. love how spacious the inside and how simplistic and clean everything is including the infotaiment system. so Hyundai wireless charge pads are a slot where you drop your phone in it. which is nice.
