I love how some pilots shake their hands in the air just after a crash as if the problem was the plane. It was plain obvious the plane was stalling and it must have been a good kit because it gave a lot of signals that this was going to happen. Plenty of time to compensate, especially with a 20cc on it. It's basic flight dynamics all pilots should know...

Yup at the end you could also see the plane staling and falling over its wing. Almost every warbird has this problem because of the round wingtip. So just keep some speed while landing an push the nose down while slow flying.

@@finn4795 yes you can't allow a warbird to stall at all, especially while flying low to the ground

Yes, it's always the same corners of the field where everyone says they had a radio hold. It's only a coincidence it's also where everyone is turning around at low speed preparing for approach, this guy made it worse by turning onto a downwind heading. I'm still trying to figure out what he was doing idling around so long for. I don't fly warbirds to see how slow it can fly or how long I can milk out of a flight. Imaginary dogfights most of the flight unless I'm being extra dumb with them, lol.

These people are not “pilots” they are radio controlled aircraft operators. A “pilot” would have been killed because they would have been in the aircraft and certainly not shaking their hands in the air.

Depends on the brand too, but Corsair would be harder to fly than a P-51. I don't personally get into warbirds too much, I do have a 6s FMS Corsair that flies really well though. Best training plane IMO is the Flex Innovations Cap 232, it's an aerobatic 3d plane, but it will teach you a lot. The better pilot you are, the easier warbirds will become.

That happens at least once a week at my field with the guys that fly spektrum they fly along just fine and then have no control, and it's always at the northwest end of our field. The Futaba and JR guys never to seem to have issues.

He stalled it.... And most people who have radio issues need to look at their build practices first. 99% of crashes are pilot/builder error. Bad connections, bad switch, linkage not assembled correctly... dozens of things that will bring a plane down, many are blamed on radio gear.... I fly OrangeRX in EVERYTHING I fly, I have dozens of planes and half of them are giant scale gassers up to 40% scale. OrangeRx and Turnigy 9xr/ 9xrPro.. In 8 years, not ONE radio related issue that wasn't caused by ME. Brand isn't an issue, it's how it's set up and used.

@@tomrc4328 All I can say is come out to my field with your Spektrum radios fly for a week or 2 and watch the crashes and then you can tell the people that crash they don't know what they are doing. I've been in the hobby for 25 years and I only fly Airtronics 72mhz and never had any issues and from what I have seen the Futaba and JR guys setup their planes up just like the Spektrum guys and for that matter those stupid electric foam planes that everyone flies now everything is already setup for you out of the box and they crash too. I started taking pictures of the crashes for the past 3 weeks and I am more than happy to send them to you and show you there is something bringing them down in the northwest corner of our field.

@@bearallen8010 A field I used to fly at had a tower 100 yards off one side of the runway that everyone swore caused interference, lots of crashes that got blamed on it. haha When I started flying all around the tower every week for months they all quit blaming the tower for their crappy setups. Using a park flyer RX instead of a full range RX and blamed anything but themselves for using the wrong parts. It was never the tower... But people sure believed that for years.
