I would literally dislocate my shoulders with this weight :D... btw here kzitem.info/news/bejne/k6KEwIaef3x6mZg is a guy doing it for 3 reps (although bar seems bit smaller than classic 20kg bar, not sure) and harder form. If I remember correctly coach Sommer said you want start behind your back with hands much closer than Shane and keep hollow body to even further intensify the stretch, but all that is a final form of weighted shoulder dislocations.

Question for anyone who can do this with just a pvc pipe or something light: do you just practice this until you can do it? Or do I need to do other exercises to get the flexibility to be able to do this?

I don't advise you to do it absolutely even with a normal stick the risk of injury is very high.

Just doing pvc dislocates is enough. Slowly work your hands closer to each other over time before adding weight. You’ll be surprised at your progress. Aim for hands just one hand-width wider than your shoulders before adding weight.

@@laloatx5892 I almost tore my bicep tendon, if you want to do this exercise you must already have a lot of mobility and shoulder flexibility but above all do the exercise slowly.

You should do it actually but not with any heavy weights...do with light sticks or PVC pipes, and get the shoulder flexibility and gradually some strength in that awkward position....trust me if I did it maybe I wouldn't have dislocated my shoulder 🥲

Ofmg i literally got chills watching this after shoulder injury why did he even attempt to try to go back so far with it man my shoulder wouldve popped at 1 kg doing this where did he start? This has to be years of psyical therapy and training agter his dislocation...
