Wow to be able to say you've rewired your boat! That's awesome. I like these fans. Love Love looking at the beautiful woodwork in the NorSea!

Thank you Kathy. I do feel a great deal of pride in the boat because I have done the work myself. I especially enjoyed the wiring process. Thanks for watching and commenting it really is an encouragement.

I also got this fan for my parents boat, no idea why they aren't more popular, within 5 feet, the air pushed is pretty good! Will be getting them for my boat when I get one in the near future.

Thank you for the comment! It really boggles my mind that every boat I seem to go on has those terrible Hella fans.

Have one of these in my galley, pushes air around really well. I have the Caframo framed models in main and aft cabin, do the trick, all of them relatively quiet. Always found them to be great quality.

I agree! In my opinion they are the best.

Voila! I just got the same fans. Definitely going to see if I can buy a few motors to have in spare if it's possible. Nice little video!

Like I said though in order for them to burn out you really need to run them a lot. I think the average user would probably never have to replace them. We literally ran them 24/7 and they all would die after almost exactly a year.

Been following your channel pretty early on, I was dreaming of getting a Nor'Sea, eventually sailing around the world... now you also have Milwaukee tools? Pretty jealous, will be watching this closely, keep it up.

Thank you Ivan! It really is an encouragement when people comment and I sure hope you find an Nor’Sea 27. Yeah my kids bought me that whole Milwaukee set and I’m hooked now!

@@SV-Mig Well I've actually settled on shopping for a Rhodes 22 and hope to start a channel soonish similar to yours initially, getting the boat in shape, etc. Life circumstances pushed me in the direction of a good trailer sailer as I have a 150LB dog that only has a chance to feel comfortable on a Prout 45 catamaran, so for the near future, to get sailing as soon and as much as possible, a trailer sailer is the way to go. plus it'll bring some variety to a channel, ill be moving between Lake Annapolis, Lake Ontario and Boston. Maybe my next boat will be a Nor'Sea when I can spend more time away from shore to make passages. What do you think of "IvanTheTerribleSailor" for a channel name? I'm thinking of naming my Rhodes (when I find one) "Puma".

@@IvanTheTerribleSailor I think that’s a great name for a channel! I look forward to watching. Nor’Sea 27 Is a great trailer sailor but not if you were planning to put it in and out of the water a lot. Those little prout catamarans can sail around the world! Good luck with all of it look forward to seeing it happen.

Well done Topher. How much power do those use.

Hi Norman! The specs are… 12V- 0.28A-0.41A. As I mentioned in the video we had seven of them going all the time on wandering dolphin and compared to the system I have on this boat I have way more battery capacity now so I don’t anticipate running four of them will be an issue at all.

@@normanswango7347 yeah those are the caged ones from the same company right? Those are also very good fans just a little bit harder to clean. Well actually a lot harder to clean ha ha

Do those little fans move much air? They're pretty small.

Thank you for the comment. I’m sorry I didn’t actually get into that very much but yes they move a lot of air actually and they have two settings low and high. The reason I Install them where I did it so that they can point write down at me when I’m sleeping right there.

Hey, you should add some social media accounts people can reach out to you over (outside KZitem comments). I had a few questions about used boat buying (what problems are fine to live with, what are red flags) that I would love to reach out about, if you would be interested.

I will look into that. I used to have a Facebook page for Mig but it got hacked, feel free to send me a message on my Facebook, Tofer Burton.

I’m sorry I don’t know what that means 😀but if it means this is a promo for that particular fan, I assure you that they are not a sponsor. If they were, however, I would happily take their money having used their fans so much that I can highly recommend them to other sailors.
