The whistle on 2102 is absolutely beautiful in my opinion

Can't wait for 2100 to complete restoration and have these 2 sister Northerns doublehead like back in the true Reading Ramble days. Hopefully ASR and Reading & Northern collaborate in the future to have 2100 and 2102 be reunited.

11:07 there's my little Mitsubishi crap box following them round the curve XD despite the crowds I gotta say it was not that bad of a chase and it was certaintly worth seeing this historical run in person.

I know it’s an uphill battle if it were attempted, but I do hope and pray Reading 2101 is restored one day. 2102 just recently come back under steam, 2100 is currently undergoing her overhaul, but because of what 2101 means it needs to be cared for next. The United States economy is in the tank, hope for America’s future is bleak regardless of your political background. Watching a phoenix rise from the ashes is what America needs. What she meant to America in 1976 would be glorious to see again. Time and people are not the question, money is. Christopher, you stated it better than anyone on Jim Van Der Kolk’s favorites list when N&W 1218. Anything can be restored if you throw enough money at it. 43 years is long enough, and America needs miracles right now.

Had a quick question for ya there Chris. You run 7.5 inch gauge steam locomotives so I figured I'd ask, has anyone ever converted a coal fired 7.5 inch gauge steam locomotive to propane firing?? As always great videos, keep on steaming man!

Hello! This is a very nice video about this steam engine. May I ask if you are of Hungarian origin? I think so because of your last name. (Kovacs which means blacksmith in English) 🙂 Greetings from Hungary!:)
