Will always be one of my favorite voices ever. Kenny was also very easy on the eyes back in the day as well. I am noticing he had more natural lines on his face in 1992, when he was young and beautiful. WHY people botox their face to no end is beyond me. A genuinely beautiful person, which Kenny seems to be does NOT need plastic surgery and botox!

Had I known, I would have searched out a live concert. The concert in the Redwoods is AMAZING! Pooh Corner, I'm Alright, Your Daddy Don't Dance .... so many others!!!!!!!!

I just love you Kenny. What heart you have. I met you many years ago after your concert in Huntington,WV. We sat across from each other, both alone, the only two people in a bar where my roommate was bar tending. I think we were both hurting at the time. I know that I was. My life changed for the better though and from what I understand that yours did too. 💜

IDig A. Pony I hate when people try to erase some well-deserved years from their faces. They kinda look like themselves, but then again they don't really. It's like watching an odd impersonator. Living life, we're going to get older. (Unless they'd prefer a young corpse with few wrinkles.)

Face lifts will make you look different when you have too many or pull your skin back too much. Plastic surgeons 40-50 years ago were more subtle and the wind tunnel look was rare - Mae West and especially Peggy Lee.

Kenny Loggins made all his money off 80s movie soundtrack songs, and he was cheesy then in his youth kinda right place right time to make the bucks and he did so with just cause. Can't fault a musician especially at that time for capitalizing on the opportunity right in front of his face. His songs ain't great but his songwriting is solid. Songwriting should always give a voice to the people and in his time he clearly did that. Worst of all is that he did WRITE good songs, and is often an easy target these days for young people to attack as some sort of scapegoat of a bygone era of music. The lyrics are solid, recognize the words people. I mean that. Yeah history will know him as an 80's movie soundtrack musician, but the musicianship and lyrics are good by and large, it's why he got the job in the first place. The 1980s were the first time we saw mega million blockbusters and the first time where a movie soundtrack mattered BEFORE or SINCE. People TODAY will still buy The Breakfast Club soundtrack or The Big Chill soundtrack or the Top Gun soundtrack. No movies today have a soundtrack anyone would buy because physical music in the form of an album no matter what is irrelevant. The man saw a chance and took it, and applied his craft to the situation at hand, and played his own hand well. He's a good musician pay respect where respect is due. And beyond all of THAT he's a really down to earth dude, from what I gather a good man in his own heart, clearly kind not obsessed with his own celebrity who values charity and giving back. Not some giant bullshit celeb of that era like Madonna. God dammit I'm not even a real fan but god bless Kenny Loggins. He's been shit on for far too long. The man has song writing credentials that stand the test of time and I respect that.

Loggins and Messina were hitting on all cylinders on Mother Lode. Truly soulful musicians with many varied abilities. Their drummer Merle Bregante was a big influence on my drumming. Jim Messina really produced sophisticated arrangements on that record. Their next record Native Sons was great too. Shoot all their records were good but Mother Lode might be the best.
