I have never heard Bible teaching this good. I can't get enough! Thank you so much for putting all your videos online. Love Bible Project and every sermon I've yet heard. This is gold.

“ Let’s not pretend that we don’t act this way (Herod did) , we just don’t have the resources. ..” Spot on !! (Though not many in churchanity land will admit, or can see that this is reality of every human condition) Thank you, Tim Mackie. I’m in awe of how much you know and can communicate it as much, but I’m always struck by your humility despite, so unlike many teachers in the church ; Churhanity vs Christianity, clearly not the same . I’m in even greater awe , you allow us to see Jesus , for Jesus to come alive not just in your faithful (thoughtful ) articulations of the Scriptures but through you. I can only pray that it’ll rub off on me. As I go through your series of lectures , I can’t thank God enough for, stumbling into them. Again, thank you to you , too.

Very powerful message Pastor, thank you; like you said, I beleived this story as a showcase of Jesus's power. And thanks to you, I finally saw it as the story of the Disciples surrendering to Jesus the little they have and the little they have after given to Jesus fed thousands. WOW...TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Took me 70 years, trump, Q, and covid to understand what you said that nothing has changed with people, power struggles, pride, and i would add, seekers, right? Life is cycles... almost Ground Hog Day. The good part of the story is that there are still those who fall in love with the Lord God and hunger for more and stand in awe that He calls us to another Road with Him. And it is a gem search.

As Mother Teresa said, "We pray to God, the prayer changes us, and then we change things.", with God's guidance and providence of course. This teaching is such a beautiful elaboration on this very idea. Thank you Tim, your teachings have helped enhance and change my entire understanding of scripture and I could never express how deep my gratitude is to you for that.

And the world that caused John a horrible death is still sadly with us today. Thank you Tim and to all ministers, pastors and disciple makers or even those that are simply trying to show the word of God through their daily actions of support for those that need it. God bless.

The sex scandal he described certainly makes homers Troy story sound a whole lot more plausible. LOL. Just something that came to mind while I was watching the sermon. I believe God has let time roll by so mankind can prove to itself how unworthy it is of the Kingdom of heaven. And therefore the need for the Lamb of God, king Jesus.
