Thank you for show what the 556 can do at distance, everyone else just does a 10-25yd shot into ballistic gel and call it a day. So many factors are involved past 100

I have been shooting guns since the 70s and been an instructor since the 80s. There are a lot of things that I don't know and watching your videos is a great reminder of that. I want to say, as an instructor, THANK YOU FOR IMPARTING SUCH IMPORTANT KNOWLEDGE. There is so much info I will probably watch this several times to absorb it. I have posted links to your videos on my FB page so others can realize how much they don't know. Thank you sir. RESPECT

Thank you for your gernerous compliments and encouraging words. Please believe me when I say that we are all only scratching the tip of the iceberg on things to learn. Will keep up the good work...

That was a great presentation and it was very interesting. Why don't do add a recap to the video tell how the bullets meet your expectations or did not meet them. What did you learn from the your exploration that either proved or disproved the original information? For all your hard work I'm surprised that you have only had 20 comments on this fine video after two years. Put it out again with a recap and see how it does. ,

Best for what one? I shoot 55 and 62 best out of a 1n9. 1n9 is good from 45 to 77.

It’s not the grain that matters. It’s the length of the projectile.

I shoot an 18 inch 1:8 twist barrel, 77gr OTM does very well for me. My gun shoots a wide range of ammo very well, I just prefer the 77gr. I have another with 1:9 , it shoots the 62gr the best.

I like the methodical way you approached this demonstration. I feel as tho' you skewed your results by using 10 lbs @ 100 yds. then 25 lbs @ 200 yds. I really feel that the results could have been compared more effectively if both blocks of clay had been of the same weight. Make a few tweaks and your approach will be of better quality. Good overall compared to what others have done in their demonstrations/experiments. Thanks, guy!

THAT 69 GRAIN PPU HOLLOW POINT GOT THE JOB DONE ON THE 10 POUNDS OF CLAY BUT NOT SURE ABOUT ITS ACCURACY THOUGH MADE THAT BLOCK LOOK LIKE THE T =1000 WHEN HE GOT SHOT IN THE FACE WITH THE 12 GUAGE AND AT 100 YARDS THATS IMPRESSIVE

Um,, actually a bullet will tumble more frequently at close range. After 100 yds ish the bullet stops precessing. Also, the rate of spin degrades slower (less) than the velocity.
