Love all the action in the woods . Just getting it done . The only thing I do different is when the tree comes down I only take the limbs off that are not too be used for fire wood leaving the tree all In Intacked . Pull the butt end up tight too the skid plate then raise up keep 90 % of wood free from ground rub and skid the whole tree out too the yard at the house . Less dirt on tree . But sometimes depending on trails and room too maneuver it can’t be done that way on the type of property that you have . I like doing most of the cutting and sorting etc close too home. 👍

Good morning Ridgeback. That sounds like a good efficient way of getting it out and I like the idea of getting them close tot shed before blocking everything. The winch works great with the tractor but I find the b2601 is not able to lift them too far off the ground - I guess the trow of the 3 point is not as high or tall as a bigger tractor would be. Thanks for the good ideas and have a great week Ridgeback!

When I bought my BX23S, one person asked me what would I do with a tractor. Right after "You have way too much time in your hands", this one is second right there for most obnoxious comment. What can I do with a tractor? WHAT CAN'T I DO WITH A TRACTOR????!!! Tractors are modern day horses. They are used to work hard. Love watching your videos. I get tips for my BX23S mods or how to run it. ☺

Your 100% correct, people are so ignorant and have no clue of the power of these little tractors specially on BX's like we have.. The BX is an absolute BRUTE specially for its size; In fact it has more power than it has weight which is why once adding proper weight/ballast they are just like a mini bulldozer! Like you said ("what CAN'T I do with it")

Good morning Dany! Thanks for the comment. So true. I still get surprised regularly at how much work this little B can do, and honestly had no idea of all the helpful things it would be useful for when I bought it. My dealer told me this would happen. I still remember him saying that no matter how many things I think i would need it for, I would find dozens of other things to use it for. So happy I finally took the plunge and wish I had done it years earlier. Thanks - have a great week and enjoy the tractor!

@@GPOutdoors I have a metal shop where I can make my own attachments for my little grown up toy. I even let my wife operate it and she is good. Suggestion for you... take a long choker chain and lay it accrossed the trailer and up over both sides. Load logs on top of chain... then choke all logs and pull the whole load off with the tractor... Or tie it off to a tree and drive out from under the logs...

Good morning Allen. LOL. I run the tractor at a lower RPM now because it comes in too fast for me. Great question - no, I purposely chose one with one cylinder. I watched a number of videos prior and found that in a lot of vids, the cylinders drop at different speeds and timing. I like the whole jaw to grab and bind at the same time across the log or brush I am grabbing. So far very happy with the design. Thanks for the good question and have a great week Allen!

Good morning Chad. Yup, it's that moment you turn to reach for the Cant hook and realize we forgot to throw it in the trailer. LOL. With the little trailer I can reach in with the grapple and lift them out but with the bigger trailer we have to use the logging tongs and the L series. The B doesn't have the reach or depth to reach in over the taller sides of the trailer. Have a good week and all the best!
