I have been able to bust clays at 400 yards (range finder indicated) but I haven’t found a place to stretch it out to 500+. When I do I gotta try that shot . Hopefully I won’t deal with the level of wind you had to work with. Outstanding shooting there!

Well they are “shorter” than the Mtn Dew bottles so your elevation is just a tad trickier but the bottle is a bit narrower so your windage has to be a little tighter. I won’t get into how many rounds it takes per clay but it is for damn sure fun doing it… as you no doubt know.

It’s nice to be able to see what your shooting at, at 9x your reticle would cover the entire target, not to mention the use of holdover or windage in the reticle, not overkill, rather practical I think, but to each his own…
@frankshanks9726
2 жыл бұрын
@@wyominghighdesertprecision 9x is designed for out to 300 yards. Bushnell makes a 2-7x with a .22lr bullet drop reticle. A .22lr won’t be an effective round past that distance. It took him several rounds to make the 500 yard mark. At 300 yards you can get rounds on target constantly and still be able to take out small game.
