Last year I set out to do 22 Hard Things in 2022. After regaining over 100 pounds after extreme weight loss a decade ago, the isolation of the pandemic, and a new wave of grief from the loss of my mother in my teen years, I found myself trapped in a cycle of self-loathing that had me living in a really dark place. I believed the lies depression told me, that I was not capable of the life I wanted to lead. I set out to feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally. What transpired is a journey I'll never forget. This year I'm making a list of #23HardThingsin2023 to continue my fight against #depression and to remember what I'm capable of.
