I am so so grateful for your channel and for this review! I am in the United States but my ancestors are from Poland. I was overjoyed when I found you and deeply appreciate your specifically Polish lens on greater Slavic traditions. I only speak English but want so desperately to learn. Please keep sharing your knowledge and opinions. You are really making a difference!

I'm so glad my channel is helpful! I'm also working on an oracle deck (it's called "Slavic Soul Oracle") and should be published in 2024 :)

Thank you for doing a Slavic perspective review of this book. The reviews are good for this book, but I’ve been hesitant to buy it in fear of it turning out to be a Baba Yaga “Goddess” book. Wow your Baba Yaga embroidery is beautiful!!! Still hoping you’ll publish your Slavic Oracle.

Thank you! I know what you mean, I was afraid of the same! :D My Oracle will be published probably in 2024. I have signed a contract, but I'm not yet sure how much I can reveal :> I know still 2 years is a lot to wait, but BELIEVE me, it will be worth it! ^____^

Thank you for sharing your review! I am always skeptical of culturally focused (or culturally derived) how-to books, so it is great to get an opinion from someone who is in the culture and has the knowledge to give an informed critique.

I am currently trying to get my hands on a copy but it is quite difficult to get one in Germany. I just tried ordering one and I got notified that it will take longer then what they stated first. Can’t wait to finally reading it, it is part of my ancestor work. Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks for reviewing the book and I really appreciate your perspective on it. I've been hesitant about it since I've been burned on other books recommended on KZitem. You should brag, it's lovely 🙂

I've been looking forward to your review of this publication and I will go ahead and treat myself to a paper copy. I was enchanted to learn more about the Domovyk who I first encountered in the Winter Witch series by Katherine Arden. Although I don't practice magic because it was so taboo when growing up, I enjoy immersing myself in the ancient beliefs and customs of my ancestors. I feel it connects me to that wilder creature I was as a child engaging with my natural curiosity again. Thank you for the literature reviews. How will you display your beautiful embroidery piece?

Oh, I love that trilogy so much! It is great indeed. I'm planning on framing the cross stitch piece and hanging it in my study, where I record most of my videos :)

Greetings Magdalena! I really loved this video. Thank you! Sadly I have not one ounce of Slavic blood in me as reported by Ancestry.com from my DNA. I am a lot of English Norwegian, Swedish, Irish, French and German. But I want to be Slavic! My Nanny was Finnish but married a polish man and I spent a lot of time at their home as a little girl. That influence saved my psychic life. Very grounded and earthy. My home town had quite a large Polish community, but that doesn't mean I am Polish, doesn't it? LOL I wish I had a road map to discover the distant traditions of my ancestry like this book provides. Again, wonderful review, all the best, Anne Many of your viewers are probably not Slavic either, and maybe you could do a video sometime about how the rest of us can explore our "people and lands".

I think you don't need to be genetically this or that to learn about certain traditions if they call to you. The Slavs believed in reincarnation - inside of one's family line, but not only :) If you would like to explore the faiths of your ancestors, look into Germanic and Celtic traditions, there is much more about them in English than about Slavic :) Thank you for the video suggestion, I'll think about it! Much love xxx
