Two years ago this month (March) I had a stroke which completely disabled my left hand (chording). My physicians would not allow me to touch an ukulele for a little more than 90 days. I began playing again slowly because feeling the strings was odd. Then I began playing 4 hours per day in 20 minute segments. My Occupational therapist told me to play ukulele as my therapy for regaining fine motor skills. My hand is not back to 100 percent, and may never be. In August 2022, I attended my first ukulele festival. Before the stroke I began trying to learn “The Entertainer,” but until last week I had forgotten about it. I saw a free tutorial for “The Entertainer” by Matt which has piqued my interest again in learning it. Thank you Matt. And thank you Andrew, Corey and Kalei (alphabetical order) for what you do almost every week. I have been watching the “concerts.” I have purchased a Ko’Aloha tenor (replaced under warranty with another Ko’Aloha), a KALA Tenor, and a PONO chambered solid body tenor), all from TheUkuleleSite. All of my strings come from TheUkuleleSite as well. Thank you guys.

Three very talented players. That last segment was a wow session. Watching Corey jamming without once looking at the uke was particularly fascinating. Would love to just on a park bench with him while he noodles away on a uke. Kalei and Matt too are so into what they do so well. Thanks Andrew for keeping such great talented guys around for us to enjoy.

No offense to Bro. Aldrine Guerrero, but I think he should do what this podcast is doing, that is, playing different tunes every episodes. That's what makes this podcast maintain its being interesting. While Aldrine's podcast only play the same 5 or 7 songs weekly. I believe he's as talented as Kalei, Corey and Matt just need to add some tunes to the repertoire. Suggestion only 🙂✌️ Anyways, another good episode brothers, thanks a lot

There are quite a few great ukulele players and there are many great ukulele teachers. But, there are those precious few who can do both, like Matt. What a great teacher and artist.

Great podcast Andrew, those Oli Ukes are beautiful. Thanks Corey, Kalei and Matt for expertly showcasing. You may need more work Corey on the posh Brit accent, 😂🇬🇧. Kalei’s super improvised song, got to agree with Matt, Wow!. As if that is just noodling, so talented. Big thanks for putting a high G on the D series, does sound amazing. Your sound demos and the time you take to do these is so appreciated. So many Ukes are leaving the factory Low G and your showcasing in High G does make a difference. You guys have a good week and I will be renewing my membership for lessons at the end of the month. Have a great week. May I wish all who may be celebrating at this time of year have a lovely time.

You all are such great players and I am never playing mine again, just kidding. I like the pick in the mouth at 1:21:00, remember to always wash your hands after playing boys and girls. LOL. I love my Go-Acoustic system plus it;s in a Super Steel guitar made by the master himself. Tell Paul hi for me.
