Did u check the oil filter bypass valve? Could be it’s stuck, causing low oil pressure. It would be awesome to see an all out rebuild. Get the block professionally checked at a good machine shop, do a hone job, main studs. ARP rod bolts,. Can even re use the pistons if they’re looking good. Set it up for a good reliable 5-600 hp. N it would be awesome to see the build

There is nothing to rebuild these engines. There cheap to rebuild, the cylinders look awesome from the video. I would check the oil pressure regulator in the oil cooler housing, also check the suction tube on the block, check if it was sealed, if it was sucking air it would not build oil pressure.

If you send the block to a machine shop they can check for cracks.

I wish I would’ve just went for pulling the motor first. Wrestling the cab to do an inframe isn’t fun. I had a scored piston wall so I had to pull the motor anyway. getting it bored over and putting it back together. Great vid!

Just watch your video sorry about the truck, I have a question when a new motor is replace for how long it needs to be running so all the shavings or debris sink to the bottom of the oil pan and have to change it again or do you just drive it until the next oil change.

Got a question for you... Just came in hands of two 01 rolling Chasis missing Trans. One converted 12V, the other was an old man's 24V and both 56 Blocks. I'm looking for some parts and wondering if you'd be willing to talk as I'm new to owning Cummins

Used engine is the price of a rebuild, so why not go in with a fresh engine. When you go to sell it a rebuilt motor is going to be easier to sell than a used drop in. Head and block look good as well so machine shop will be cheap.
