hey man, I run the ISR turbo kit on my KA24DET as well, its been a good kit and I also use the RS enthalpy tune, rips pretty hard! PS: be ready to install that hks bov, the snap ring can be a pain in the ass lol

I just finished my ka-t setup on my hatch (getting dyno tuned next week). I went for more of upgradeable down the line route but currently using parts very similar to your build here. You should totally look into doing some nice hardware for the hot side and nice clamps for the charge piping. I used Nordlock Washers for the turbo to manifold and for the turbo elbow/downpipe. They help keeping parts that heat up and cool down a lot from coming loose. Definitely look at some nice constant tension band clamps from like summit racing the T-bolt clamps will work but they a prone to breaking

is the intercooler piping the s14 S20 M Spec one from ISR? currently piecing my KA-T25/28 as well, curious how it worked out for you bolting up.

Yes, its the only complete kit they have it says its for an S13 but will work on S14, the intercooler itself bolted up amazing to the stock hood latch bolt hole and had to use self tapping screws for the bottom tabs, the piping was ok though, the cold pipe to the intake manifold bolted up perfect but the hot pipe from driver side intercooler to turbo had to make some adjustments and it touches the hood when closed. I have a T28 turbo off an SR20 so the turbo outlet is at a 45 degree angle but the intercooler pipe kit comes down at a 90 degree angle it is also larger diameter than my turbo elbow so I bought a 45 degree silicone adapter to connect the piping to the turbo but with that it raised the height of the piping.

@@LetsDriftMedia gotcha, I’m just trying to not have anything tig welded and hoping I can get away with the intercooler kit bolting up nicely. You’re car almost ready to rip?

@@Boostgravyy you got this. And yea just got my megasquirt ECU so just need to bolt up the exhaust and mount my oil cooler then time for a dyno tune

That turbo is too small and will choke the motor, it will go KA-boom. I would go standalone instead of RS-enthalpy. I know of people popping their motors running 8 psi and basically same build as you. Good luck with your build.

@@LetsDriftMedia I'm not trolling good sir, just watching out for a fellow 240 owner. I'm currently in the process myself and have talked several people regarding the t28 set up. T3 is best but if you are set on t28 like myself. The two things that would help is having a really good tune and going with .86 on the turbine side instead of the .64 that comes with the stock sr20 turbos. You might run 8 psi but the amount of back pressure you'll cause on the exhaust side will blow your ring lands which is the weakest link on these motors

@@muki6261 idk about that I’ve seen several dozen people at the track run bolt on t28 setups like I’m doing and have had no issues. Exhaust back pressure is not even a problem when you have 3” piping all the way from the turbo back.
@muki6261

The problem I'm talking about is before the turbo, the pressure is caused by the turbo itself being too small and not moving enough air. The KA head moves a lot more air than sr20 so this will cause too much pressure/heat and detonation. I'm following your page and will watch how your build goes.
