Hello Again Tech Dadiys, Tech Mom, Tech Dudes and Tech Dudettes!!
In this video we will conduct an experiemtn on our AC and lets see how much it would cost to run a 24 hours with a 25 degree celcius Auto mode settings on our 1.5hp inverter split type AC.
Ive chose 25 settings so we can compare it with some of the videos ive uploaded before. • Eco mode vs Normal mod...
FYI
i really dont run my AC 24/7. I just did it for this experiment so i can figure how much it will cost me to run it for a whole day for a desired temperature. Usually i run it only for 6-12 hours max to save on electricity. I really dont need to operate it a whole day only when it gets really hot and humid. Electric fan is much cheaper to run if you are really on a budget.
Correct room size, correct AC size, number of people, appliances, placement of outdoor unit on direct sunlight can cause energy needed for the AC to run more.
Also take note that inverter aircon provides 50-70% on savings and you will save more if you use it less. Make sense right? The more you use, the heavier it is on our bill. Also the more we use it, the more dust it gets and we have to call for a cleaning more often than not. Just remember that this is not a commercial airconditioning that we can run 24/7. The more we run it, the more wear and tear our aircon gets. It is still much cheaper to run our AC for 6-12hours than 24/7.
