I have been watching you for several hours and no offence is intended against other you tube crafters but as much as I love their ideas I cannot listen to the high pitched sugary fake voices and the way they sing the end couple of words of each sentence. You are very easy on the ears and fab ideas too .Another thing I've noticed with a lot of you tubers is that their speech doesn't flow easily its choppy .stilted. almost as if they break it up into 3 or 4 word parcels .so congrats for not making it weird 👏

I'm so glad I'm not the only one! Megan sounds like a friend . Others sound the same way and those are the ones I follow. The other? Mostly I watch with the sound OFF! I've been crafting for so long I watch for the ideas, I really don't need sound. Sweet and sugary? LOL My other thing that bothers me, is when they keep going up when they talk. I first noticed people doing it in the mid 1990s. For me, you only go up when you are asking a question. But that's me, my bad. I'm old and set in my ways so if offends anyone, please don't hold it against me. I can and do turn the sound off and put on the subtitles, so no one has to change!! I use the thumbs up freely and rewatch so they still get credit a d make money. Easy peasy. I know it's ME!

While I like TikTok and YT shorts, etc, I am of the 2010s YT crew who LOVES longer videos! ...when done right, that is. And guess what? YOU, my dear, are superb at making long-form videos and compilations. Full stop. You're voice overs are well-paced, but not so fast as to require viewers/listeners to constantly rewind to try to catch all the instructions and details. You strive for accuracy, but not perfection, and as someone who is a hot mess of a human being, I APPRECIATE THAT SO MUCH. Lastly, you're funny, and personable, and seem very much like the type of mom-friend I would ask to join me for hot chocolate and cookies after a craft show or PTA meeting. I save the stems from the picks/floral pieces and use them to attach the rings/or whatever to the ball, by folding them over like the U shaped floral pins! They last forever because they are covered by the plastic, they won't rust like the wire can! Also because I live in NE Florida 🤗 aka Satan's swampy BuUuTTT crack🙃 the obnoxious heat and humidity can cause hot glue to fail😶 which is ALWAYS fun when having a party🥳 and your neighbors sister, who's visiting from the north and is deathly afraid of lizards and spider's, gets hit from above by a flower which translated to GIANT lizard spider hybrid in her drunk brain, causing her to run top speed, into the swimming pool 🤦.. .....so yeah. I use the stems vs glue😁 BeCaUsE that's a lesson you only need to learn ONCE.....poor thing is too terrified to go to anymore outdoor events, in the summer so I make sure to have a party during the Christmas season! BuUuUuUt another thing I do is make several balls with the stems already attached and just tie ribbon and flowers on anytime I need a quick decoration for whatever and I can remove them just as fast! Sorry for the ridiculously LoOoOonG comment but I wanted to give people ideas for the stems vs throwing them away! I can't wait to see what you have coming up for Christmas because I know it'll be FAB-U-LOUS 😁 XOXOXO from Florida cutiepatootie 🤗💗✌️

I made a couple trees like that with leftover poster board last year and they are so adorable! It was also a great way to use up some fun yarn (I made two with gold "novelty" yarn that really wasn't good for much, and one with a textured burgundy yarn that was horrible for knitting/crocheting). I also really liked how I could make them as big or small as I wanted to fill in a spot that might be missing something in my decor. Just wanted to tell you that you were my inspiration. I loved the idea of using cheap bed pillows from Dollar General for fiberfill so I bought a couple to have on hand. I found myself needing a pillow form for a pillow cover at Halloween. I ripped open the bed pillow, pulled out a bit of fiberfill and squared it up and stitched it up on my sewing machine to make a pillow form. You could not tell the difference and it was a fraction of the cost of a purchased pillow form plus I have a bit of fiberfill for another project. So, Krylon makes a Craft Foam Primer that comes in a couple of shades. (I personally use the Light Grey, as it seems to be the easiest to find, as well as the most forgiving when painting over it.) I get mine from Amazon, or have the folks at Michael's order me a case of it about twice a year. Absolutely worth the cost in time (and craft foam) saved ALONE. 😊

When or what crafting situations do you recommend to use Craft Foam Primer? Forgive me for the dumb question I have never heard of Craft Foam Primer and have no clue what it is used for. 🤦♀️ Although, I am a big believer in time is money and if this product can save a bunch of time I am very interested! Thanks for the tip Amanda & much love to you my friend ❤ -Megan

@@GlueGunsRoses First off, STOP THAT! It is NOT a dumb question. You don't treat your viewers like they are dummies for not knowing things, so please, give yourself the same courtesy! 💚 *ahem* Where was I? Right! As to the primer: As you pointed out in your video a few times, most (if not all) spray paints melt or "eat" Styrofoam. Foam primer works just like primer for plastics: You spray it on the item in question to prep it for painting. This allows the paint to stick to the item, as well as protecting the item from damage due to the chemicals in various paints. (Specifically, the propellants in spray paint tend to be the culprit when it comes to damaging various materials, like foam.) I tend to use foam primer when I want to be able to paint on a foam item directly, but don't have time to hand-paint, or there are no details in that step in the crafting process. Foam primer also allows me to use less expensive, unusual and/or upcycled Styrofoam or craft foam items I have found, been given, or have sitting in my garage already. 😅 When I am using bare Styrofoam blanks (the most recent example being making dragon eggs for a Halloween display last month) I found that painting the item first made any mistakes not stand out as much. (Like scales that have fallen off or simply were missed in the crafting process.) Speaking of the dragon eggs: tried 2-in-1 primer and paint from Rustoleum first; melted right through the Styrofoam egg. 🤦♀️ (That's what I get for being impatient, and not waiting for Michael's to tell me my order had arrived.) Tried again using the craft foam primer first, then my spray paint of choice (like you, I'm parital to Rustoleum). Worked great! No pitting, no melting. Completely smooth, matte surface that took the paint with no issues. Even on the cheaper, "crunchy" blank foam eggs you get at various craft and dollar stores! Saved me a lot of time and headache, because we wound up making nearly a dozen dragon eggs, and not a single one of them was a standard chicken egg size. (People wound up "ordering" some from us for their kids, so, really, this helped SO MUCH.)

This is one of the few craft YT channels I've found that has stuff that actually looks good without breaking the budget or making yourself nuts. Not only that, but it gets to the point & no bizarre foolishness.

You know what would have absolutely elevated your favorite one (#6)? If you’d hot glued matching colored or spray painted ornament balls inside of the bells so they don’t look so empty!

You’re one of the best diyers! No affected voice like one of the gals! Great directions and AMAZING IDEAS! Do you actually sleep at night or do your ideas keep you awake? Thank you for sharing especially for those of us who wouldn’t think of these clever ideas in a zillion month of Sundays.

I'm proud to be a *real MVP!* I'm inspired every time I watch your videos! I had to go back and rewatch because it's Christmas time again! Ps. I love that you keep your "bloopers" (aka you correct yourself) in the uploads!

I always enjoy your videos. This wasn’t long at all. I was one of the five. I love your projects. The only that I don’t care for are the gnomes but that goes for all videos w them in it. I prefer Santa🎅🏻🧑🏻🎄🎄👍❤

I love your DIY videos for Christmas. I start everything early for this season, and I'm new at doing this but I wanted to know your suggestion as to which glue gun I should buy. As I said, I've seen several of your videos already and they vary from floral to glass, to wood etc. Which gun will be the best choice? Thank you so much, and please keep these videos coming!

Only thing I'll say, that's negative in any way, not intended but, dollar tree is no longer $1 for everything where I'm from. It's gone up, to $1.25 now. Still great prices and super cute ideas though!

I attempted to make the wood bead wreaths. I used the “good spray paint”. Lol. My bigger beads are still pink. However, the jingle bells are great and I added to them. Thank you for your inspiration.

Love 💕 your video, you are so genuine. You have wonderful ideas and you don't mind admitting if you don't know what something is or making a goof. It makes you real and so much more fun to watch. By the way - there called runners on the bottom of the sleigh. Also you have a very pleasant voice. 🍀

Hot glue pops right off outside in our Connecticut Autumn/Winter. I use fabric glue- great stuff. Thanks for sharing your ideas! 💡 PS: Our Dollar Tree stores actually have a “Discount/Clearance” section. Just ask if your store has one. Amazing deals $0.25-$.0.75 items because the package is partially open, soon to expire, or the last one in stock. Happy hunting! 😎

You have great taste and fun and nice looking ideas!!
