Hello! I enjoy your videos very much. I have two questions.....#1 - When you mention dumpster diving, are you literally doing that? and #2 - Do you ever take advantage of food banks? Thank you for providing inspiration for innovative and healthy meals.

@@cindybreck6341 Hi Cindy! Yes, I do dumpster dive, not so much during the summer. I don't qualify for assistance, just slowly working my way out of debt. Glad you are enjoying my journey!

Excellent.. I marvel as I watch your food plan, shopping and budgeting each week how disciplined you are. Your prices are reasonable compared to our prices here in Australia. Those cherries for instance would be 7 - 10 times that price even in season and depending on where they were bought.

@@annea7526 It helps that I live in a food oasis of sorts. The cherries were an unusual special find. The average price for them has been around $3.50/lb. I just happened upon them while shopping at the discount "farmers market" store. It's not close to me, but is close to one of my jobs, so I swing by there on the way home when I can because they do have some really good deals.
