Cool. Looks like you just used a standard rotary bit for this. Like a .030 or something judging by the angle of the edges. Would a parallel cutter work too?

Hi Chris, It was actually cut with a cutter beveller which produced the angled edges. We ran a test cut with a parallel but found that the we liked the clean angled edge that the cutter beveller left. We also cut it in a couple of passes.

Vision EngravingRouting Cool I've never tried one like that. I like the profile cutters for angled finish on some of the stuff I do. I can see how the cut/bevel made a nice edge here though. Need to see that holster in action at the end.

Are you using a vacuum top to hole the leather?

Nope, Were using masking tape on the top of sacrificial and masking tape on bottom of leather. Then spray on glue on the masking tape side to hold the leather and sacrificial together.
