30x is at 800 f5.6. Assuming cross has 8000 pixels (48 MP sensor or similar), there are rooms for 2X crop (digital zoom). That means there are about 9x optical magnifications = 3x3 (two kenko 3X extender EF mount) or 1.5x2x (2 sets). So the set up (or a similar focal range) is totally accessible by most hobbyists. I think the amazing things are: (1) the IS worked really well; (2) the air was clear; and (3) the screws and fluorescent tube in the final range are clearly identifiable. Given so many extenders/teleconverters stacked, the final image also has huge color aberrations -- which were understandable.

Years ago I had a 4.5 inch reflector telescope. The first time I looked at the moon I gasped as it was so vivid it looked 3 dimensional. Also seeing Saturn's rings was really exciting. One day while visiting a cousin who lived on a farm I saw a little yellow speck about a half mile away across an alfalfa field just into the woods on the other side of the field. I aimed the telescope at the tiny yellow speck and all I could see was the upper left corner of the N of a No Trespassing sign. Unbelievable.

Are you saved? If you died tonight would you go to heaven or hell? The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. Although God's creation was created perfect, having no death, sickness and disease, the creation became corrupted through Adam and Eve in them disobeying God. In this rebellion the creation became fallen through the curse of sin and mankind became separated from God. This world is fallen, but God offers reconciliation to him through his provision at the cross. Ultimately God will restore his creation to perfection when he returns but those that who reject his offer of redemption will remain condemned by their sins and go to hell. 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. John 1:1,14 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, 1 John 3:8 KJV He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Hebrews 2:14-16 KJV Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; [15] And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. [16] For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Isaiah 9:6 KJV For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. John 1:10 KJV He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT. John 20:28-29 KJV And Thomas answered and said unto him, MY LORD AND MY GOD. [29] Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Acts 16:30-31 KJV ...what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. 1 John 1:8-10 KJV If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. GOD CREATED THE WHOLE UNIVERSE, INCLUDING THE ORIGINAL PLANTS, ANIMALS AND THE FIRST TWO HUMANS (ADAM AND EVE) IN SIX LITERAL 24- HOUR DAYS. GOD CREATED THE EARTH AS A GLOBAL PARADISE, THERE WAS NO DEATH, SICKNESS OR DISEASE. MAN LIKE ALL OF THE ANIMALS ATE VEGETATION. ALL WAS PERFECT. Its strange how 20-50x and 300-600x-- seemed to make minimal differences in the transition range.
@ballaking1000
Жыл бұрын
Not really strange.. The more you zoom, the less zoom needed for the next multiplier interval (whole numbers). Going from 1x to 2x makes the biggest difference and dwindles as you progress. It’s the same as cutting a picture of the landscape in half, over and over again and blowing it up to it’s original size. With each zoom, there’s less distance across the picture to make a difference. It’s strange to me why 20x-50x and 300x-600x caught your eye when zoom levels in its entirety make a perfect exponential curve on a graph.
@jsmdnq
Жыл бұрын
@@ballaking1000 huh? This doesn't make sense. 1x to 2x is the same magnification as 2x to 4x 32x is 2^5 and 512x is 2^9 and so the later is 2^4 = 16x more magnification. It is almost surely due to detail and psychology. The fact is that if those numbers are correct Go to the 5x image and then look at the top of the building where the final zoom ends up and then compare. 600/5 = 120. Then take that sphere at the top and stack it horizontally 120 times and it should fit perfectly. In fact, to cheat, notice that the youtube time bar is 2m which is 120 seconds. The sphere is about 1 second in width so you can se there will be 120 of them. It is likely that by "minimal distance" is the confusion with detail. That is, the detail of structure is not the same at all scale levels(well, it is if you mean atomic detail but not if you mean manmade detail).
@ballaking1000
Жыл бұрын
@@jsmdnq My math is correct, yours is too but the reasoning behind it is flawed. 1x - 2x IS the same as 2x - 4x, that's correct. The difference lies in that you had to skip 3x to make that same rate-of-difference. You'd also have to skip 5x - 6x - 7x to arrive from 4x - 8x. Notice how it jumped from skipping 1 increment to 3, the next would be 7.. That's what makes it exponential and why zoom levels become more sensitive as you zoom further in. Sidenote: it's much more convincing if you stay away from words like "surely", "should" and "likely" when trying to refute someone.
@jsmdnq
Жыл бұрын
@UCXv3XwEyoze6sutnSmNtmMw Whatever. To me it sounds like you sorta realize you are wrong but have to be right so you are trying to say I'm wrong for using actual words mathematicians use(I would know because I'm one). Magnification is a pure quantity representing a scaling factor. You can't change the math. If something that is X times the magnification isn't X times then I don't know what to tell you. There is no exponential curve involved. Magnification is a linear equation: O = M*I where M is a real number, usually given as a ratio of 2 integers(a rational number). e.g., y = a/b*x then a/b is scaling factor of x. A 32x factor is y = 32*x x can be a 2d image, a volume or whatever. A 600x factor is y = 600*x There is no "exponential curve". You tried to justify his "belief" about something using something you didn't fully comprehend and rather than admit you made a mistake you are trying to gloss over it with a "compromise" so you pretend you are right. This is now how things should work. I'm not trying to be an ass, I'm just right and you are wrong. Just how the universe worse. You shouldn't let your emotions get involved here. Now, if you mean something different you should explain it but what he is talking about is why the changes in magnification seem to be different. They are not. The rate of change(the derivative) of a linear function is a constant(no change). So all the change he is talking about is through perception. If there is anything "exponential" about that then you have to prove it in how his brain processes things, not in the realm of mathematics.
@ballaking1000
Жыл бұрын
@@jsmdnq Mathematics is perfect; perception is not. What you're trying to convince me with is akin to trying to convince me that the second time I cut a piece of paper in half, it'll be the same size as when I had first cut it... How silly is that? If a camera were to start zooming in at the exact same rate without accelerating or decelerating- the incremental change of magnification will very quickly start to ramp up. For crissakes, just look at your monitor screen.. Pretend the edges of your screen were offset with a rectangular digital line that started moving towards the middle of your screen at a linear speed.. Even though the lines of the rectangle are moving at a fixed rate inward, the ratio from what's inside the rectangle to outside the rectangle (within your monitor screen space) will dramatically increase as the rectangle becomes smaller (EXACT same idea as with magnification). Last comment you'll get from me as I can't make it any simpler for you.

I had a sony superzoom , it was extremely difficult to capture moving objects like airplanes. And using lcd screen , you can't see the small objects. E.g. if i see star, several of trials would be needed to properly zoom on it.

I thought you started with 600mm F4 but I see that it was 800mm F5.6. Then I see a 2x TC on it but that surely is not all. What was the number of stocked TCs and then how much is digital zoom? BTW did I see zooming in your clip when footage is from a prime lens?! Final word: I am amazed by the clarity of the final magnified image and ESPECIALLY that lack of heat weaves and atmospheric distortion, in other words, I guess you have a very clear and nice atmosphere around you. Any more comments on the detail of the shooting and final EXIF?

I don't know what a drone is, unless you mean a Quadcopter. What a stupid word. One minute 'drone' is a bee, the next it's a machine, then it's a plane, next it's a model Quadcopter, then again it's a person, and lastly (maybe not the last, as more ignorant, poorly educated, low IQ illiterates continue to use a word that means a continuous humming sound, as a name to name things that aren't 'drone'), they are also calling military aircraft and weapons of mass destruction - drone. Pfft! It's just a word, not a name because 'drone' has present and past participles 'droning' and 'droned' and a number of definitions. Are these also names? Can you use 'droning' and 'droned' to call someone or some machine, or toy? Do names have present and past participles and definitions? Does your name? Can you say, 'Let's go fly a droning? No, why? Because these aren't names but word, present and past participles of 'drone'. What schools did you go not to know this? Sometimes I am itching to laugh at the terrible ignorance in this world. It's a wonder we are in a mess, even with this Coronavirus going on, you still buy Chinese made junk sending billions back to China and helping a communist country getting powerful as I speak, best army, best military, warships, best of everything while the world is jobless. Right now how many bullshit 'drone' are leaving China? All because you want these garbages. Think about it, a million of them at prices from $350 cheaper models to $2000 top of the range, then calculate how much money goes back to China, money that should have stayed in your country. You see? Ignorant sheep everywhere. No wonder China laughs. I've always wondered to myself during my years at school, what will happen to all these dunces when they finish school and start adulthood, will they be highly intellectuals or will they remain the same low IQ, 'no spikka da inglisha' illiterates? 40 years later, I discovered the truth. Always smiling...
