I’ll be there screaming for you Reed… Beware of the unrelenting downhill slope for the first 4 miles, you certainly feel their affect on your quads once you start the hard hills again around 18.5…. Best of luck buddy 🪓⛏

How does it work with these guys who simply run a very first marathon at an insane pace? How come they just ‘arrive’ on the scene with a pace at 2:15 or faster? I can’t wrap my head around that… anyone knows?

Some people train really high mileage even though they don't run marathon distances. A mixture of that and good genetics would be my guess
