@@BeginnerforBSeries Going to try next week, northern Michigan is getting cold :) For the future, do you have a video on removing the blower? Last I knew I have to disengage the front PTO by switching it to the back PTO option in the cab, then lower the joystick before disconnecting the hydraulic lines? Or am I going to drown in hydraulic fluid lol?! Thank you!!!

I did do a video on this a few years back. You shouldn't have to touch your PTO levers. Here's my video and it's chaptered so your can get through it. One of my first videos so it's hard for me to watch. 🫣 I think it should help your though. I think it was my first time with this tractor. Here's the link: kzitem.info/news/bejne/moep0JefnmODdoY

That is a nice set up. I have the same tractor with a 6’ snow pusher on the loader and a rear blade. Takes me about 10 minutes to get everything ready

Hi Tony, that's a great setup as well. Nice to have the flexibility of using your loader if need be. I would hate the thought of needing mine during the winter months and having to switch things over multiple times. Hope for no down trees or anything like that. I have some walkways that I do as well so the blower works great for that. Take care and thanks for watching.

Great video. Have the exact same setup on my 2650. One word of caution - you might want to zip tie your hydraulic hoses up and away from the right front axle area. I learned the hard way after season 1 with mine that area articulates and the hoses can get stuck in the gaps and get crushed from the weight of the tractor. Thankfully it happened while machine was still pretty much new so the dealer took care of it gratis but did end up having to replace two of the hoses and top off the hydraulic fluid.

Thanks for the info James. I zip tied the chute deflector from catching on the grille guard. Didn't think about them getting caught on the axle. I'll look into that. Thanks for the advice and watching.

Outstanding video. I have the same Kubota setup and am also a beginner B series guy of 3 years. I've used my plow for the past 2 winters, but wanted to try the snowblower this year. I've read the manual, watched hours of other videos, and finally came across yours which shows the rpm's and PTO engagement which isn't covered in the manual. Thank you!!

Looking at getting a rear snow blower myself👍 have you used a 3 point ❄️ blower, wondering how the front and back blower compare to each other as I would like to leave the loader on the front 😀
@BeginnerforBSeries
2 жыл бұрын
I would like to be able to keep the front loader on but ultimately decided that I had not only driveways but paths I wanted to keep clear for my utility guys. So I went with a front end blower and a rear blade so I could scrape down to pavement if need be. He in NH we sometimes get a good mix of snow which the blower isn't always the best option and I have to scrape it. I find that combo works best for me.

Great video! I have the same setup, and it seems every time I engage the PTO, the engine want to shut off, I have to engage and disengage for a couple of times, then it is working ok from there. Is it because it needs to warm up the engine first or all the implement needs to be warm up first? It is my first time owning this engine. Thanks.

Thanks for watching. I've never had this problem but I'm wondering if it has to do with the seat safety switch? 🤔 If it doesn't detect you on the seat, then the engine will shut right down if the PTO is engaged. Is it still under warranty?
@shaolinkungfucentre156

@@BeginnerforBSeries yes, it is still under warranty. I tried again today since we had another 5cm of snow. It helped to lower the rpm, then engage the pto, it acting up less times then before, but the occasionally it shut off. May be you are right about the safety switch under the seat. I will have the dealership check it out. Thanks again for your input.

Do you have any idea the part # to your mid PTO shaft. Last winter I hooked up my snow blower, when I tried to use it, I noticed someone Stole mine. Snowblower no worky!
@BeginnerforBSeries

HI Scott. I believe it comes as a kit for the mid-PTO Driveline. Here is a link that should help though...shop.kubotausa.com/oemparts/a/kub/6091ac9c87a86614f81c3312/i00500-mid-pto-drive-kit-b2793-option Then I think what you are looking for is #2 in the diagram. Looks like you can buy it separate from a dealer. Let me know how it works out. Sucks someone would steal that.

My Bx25 detent for the chute control (movement right) is driving me nuts. it will not move. you can see the hose 'jump'. it's like it deadheads. I'm working on a Working on a solution besides violence. Have a great day.

What’s the part number on the quick hitch?
@BeginnerforBSeries
2 жыл бұрын
Hi David, I don't have a quick hitch as this is my only rear attachment at this time. If I add more, then I will certainly get one. The one I'm looking at is the QH05 or QH10 from LandPride. The "Quick Hitch" sticker you see is saying that back blade is compatible.
