Love the whole vibe, especially the light and private patio with beautiful landscaping. The patina on the patio wall is lovely. Great style. The color palette is so warm and inviting. The brick ceiling looks cool but seems unsafe if there were an earthquake.

Beautiful! Love the color combinations and all the textures of the brick, tile, and wood.

Rustic, I love it, ceiling/upper flooring shows the quality of workmanship 👌🏼. Big up to the bricklayer and his laborers.

Yes, outstanding work!! I wish I emphasized more of this feeling in the video, but I spent a lot of time admiring the beautiful brick work when not filming. Definitely makes this space!

Lovely loft and smart use of floor footage. I think there's enough space to have a small couch in the living room instead of those chairs and I would put a dining table in the garden for meals and to entertain guests. It can also double up as working space while enjoying a glass of wine outdoors! The garden adds something really special to that apartment.

Very nice. If I was going to live full time in this apartment, I think I'd cram in a bit more storage - cover the entire kitchen wall (except right above the cooking top) plus somewhere to hang clothes in the bedroom (even just a simple rack or pole). And a desk where the shoes were!

Great ideas! Definitely would agree on adding some more storage for full-time living. Adding a desk in front of that window would make a wonderful workspace!

I think the stair case looks cool but also scary. Some stairs with storage beneath would be better for me. Underbed storage would also work to add space.

Agreed. I'd also make the patio doors open completely. One could possibly add storage above the bathroom door as well.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll look and see if I have any footage or pictures from the exterior. To be honest, there wasn’t much to show here-the entrance to this apartment is in the “cochera” (carport of a larger home), so not like the traditional homes of Guadalajara that have a visually-appealing exterior!

@@AlanToscano But it's interesting to know that unassuming exteriors can hide a jewel. :)

Nice little place that would rent on the long term rental market for $200 USD/mo (excl utilities). Great option for a months stay if you’re needing a jumping off point for a move to beautiful Mexico. Everything in Mexico seems beautiful to the eye; but the deepest beauty of mexico is its loving, kind and sincere people.

Just stumbled upon your video. I love this micro loft; a lot of warmth and character in the space. The outdoor area really compliments it. Thanks for sharing. The ceiling was brick... is that common in the area?

How much does it rent for per month?
@AlanToscano

I just checked the listing and the host is no longer offering monthly stays on this particular unit (not sure why), but it rents up to 15 nights for about $48/night + Airbnb fees.

You’re really redundant when you keep saying “I really love what they did with this space” over and over again.
