His perspective emphasizes real world efficiency with regards to shooting. So when will we see a Fal sand test as I commented on Facebook I talked to IDF veterans of the six day war and they disliked the Fal claiming that it did not survive the Sinai's sand still wondering if it's the misused gas regulation or the actual sand. I will also add that they would take ak's when they could and that the 7th armored recon kicks ass until today.
@tugboatyan
5 жыл бұрын
I imagine the next battery of convoy tests is fairly likely to be the G3 and FAL - FAL to test its susceptibility to sand ingestion (and maybe test how well "sand cuts" actually work), and G3 to see if the soldier from the photo that spawned the convoy tests really needed to hold his thumb over the ejection port like that. Plus, FAL vs. G3 is just one of those classic test pairs like AK vs. AR.

What? never have I seen such uniforms in the IDF, since the 1950's the IDF used plain OD green uniforms with no camo pattern, kind of like the old WW2\Korea war US army uniform(as most Israeli equipment is just old american surplus). The funny thing is that the only time I've ever seen and wore camo uniform was in military jail where inmates would get 1980's-90's gulf war desert camo US army uniforms, and they were soooo much comfortable to wear than that fucking standard OD green shit...
