RACE PLAN:
Start - get the wheel moving as fast as possible by taking 5 of your hardest and quickest strokes.
5 strokes to 15 strokes in - keep the rate high and get out to full length rowing.
15 strokes - 250m in - back off the power, keep the rate high and begin to dial in your race pace.
250m - 750m in - Have the confidence to sit on your race pace and race rate. Don't be a hero here.
750m - 1250m - Think STRONG RHYTHM. Do this in sets of 20 strokes, consolidate your rhythm and take powerful strokes.
1250m - 1500m - Turn the screw, GRADUALLY increase the pace.
1500m - 1700m - Powerful legs and turn the screw again
1700m - 1800m - POWER + LENGTH
1800m - 1900m - POWER + RATE
1900m - FINISH - GO GO GO GO!!!!
