Let me correct something deeply. The 2nm is the effective length between the gates of transistors when it is on state. It does not mean that the distance between the transistor is 2nm. The physical length may be 10nm and the effective length might go to 2nm when you apply the voltages. So don't get fool by the nanometres naming convention.

The thing is quantum computers are suitable as supercomputers as they are better in doing a large variety of tasks together in a much lesser time than normal processors But most of the task any one in the world does are a single task for a long period of time and that's why sometimes normal processors are more powerful than quantum computers in every other work than supercomputer tasks and RnD

Nahi we can't go into picometers, even 1 nm is hard because 1 nm means the source and drain of transistor are only 1 or 2 silicon atoms apart and there are a lot of failures at such short channel length. So before quantum computing comes into play the only option is to shift to some other material.

@@burstingsanta2710 heisenberg is a different concept for now, actually in this video one point is wrong that 7nm is distance between two transistors, actually it is distance between source and drain of the transistor also called channel length, approx radius of 1 silicon atom is 0.2 nm so when we try to go below 1 nm there are various phenomenon like hot carrier degradation due to which a transistor is shorted and it eventually fails.
