I love it Chris! My good friend Jay and I drove our motorcycles the entire way around Ireland last summer, wild camping along the coastline, stopping off to climb mountains along the way. It was the best adventure I've ever had. Jay and I had so many conversations about the trip, how the journey became the destination! You've captured all the conversation we had in one 6 minute video, you've summed it up beautifully! Well done.

Spot on explanation of riding. I lived in Australia for 10 years before returning to Canada. I only rode motorcycles. Didn't own a car. Because I could ride year round. This video is exactly the same thing I would tell all my friends. And I toured all over the eastern part of Australia. Still ride today, but its only half of the year now.

I love your introduction on the difference between car & motorcycles. Such a message there, i only had the chance to ride a motorcycle once but i'm an avid bike rider & certainly the freedom that comes from riding a 2wheeler and the connection that happens to nature is real deep, even walking/trailing in nature won't do me like riding does on a bike. Real freedom like this you'll never experience in your routine life, you need to seek discomfort every now & then to really feel what it's like.

I did Vancouver BC to Ottawa Ontario in Summer of 2019 on my 2013 Triumph Bonneville, mostly camping. Looks like you didn't have nearly as much gear as I did....tent, stove, camp chair, plus the largest item, a good sleeping bag. Just about all I met said the Bonneville is the wrong bike for this type of trip! Of course, there are better choices, but this is the way it used to be done!

I ride a Bonneville. A motorcycle has always been a consolation prize for covering the country on a fine horse, of course. The horse alas has dropped off our radar almost entirely, but all those roads and cars and such make cross country travel by horse (which is self-fueling) too dangerous and difficult anyway, now. Meanwhile the motorcycle is helluva a consolation prize, and top of the list is Triumph. Good little film, thanks.
