Might just be me. But Jabari should have more shots in the post and midrange. Perfect pick and pop stretch 4. If you give him 5 post shots a game he than becomes 20 and 10, and that's not bad. Sheppard midrange game is elite. Gotta use it.

1. Jalen Green should be either the 6th player or to be traded. He's too inefficient and has a very limited offensive plays. 2. Sengun needs to take more responsibility and need better cardio. 3. Jabari and Tari must compete for the starting five fairly. Jabari's draft pick number should no longer grant him 30+ minutes play time. 4. Amen needs a better 3p% for tactical reasons. 5. Reed must be given enough time with Sengun to understand each other as sson as possible.

Good pod Jackson. I think for most of this pod you hit the nail on the head. we must shoot the 3 ball better this year and I think we will do that. Reed will help with that in addition to the veterans getting better, but the key to getting better looks is having more threats capable of knocking down that shot. while Dillion shot 35% last year we must have better shooting from the SF position. that's why I think Dillion will lose his job at some point before the allstar break. the forward positions get a lot of the looks we generate in our offense so we must have above average shooting in at least one of those 2 spots. i expect Jabari to get better, but I don't think Dillion will.

Adams stan comment, but it would be good if he can help teach sengun with both screening (increasing 3pt and paint %) and quck outlet passes from a rebound (increasing pace) then i think that will help. Otherwise i think youll see a big difference in those metrics between starting and bench unit

22:40 I’m sorry but I don’t understand how anyone thinks corner 3s are the easiest shot. Just because it’s closer doesn’t make it easier. When you’re able to see the backboard it really helps with depth perception and it makes it an easier shot. The corner 3 is a shot that I feel is shot mostly by corner specialist
@usmansiddiqui6259

Don’t take this wrong I’m not saying that rockets shouldn’t shoot the corner 3. The rockets need some specialist as well. Jabari, Reed, and Cam I feel like can definitely add it to their arsenal.

Need a guy at the 2 that is an efficient shooter. If that is not Jalen, then he needs to be replaced with someone who is. Dillon needs to up his game a bit or we need to consider trading him and letting some core guy have those minutes. Amen needs a 3pt shot. We need more than than one way to play offense. Playing slow always is too predictable and limiting.

Could Ime's willingness to put in the "hot hand" or players that he thought we needed to close games last season, be a contributing factor to the team being so poor in clutch time? I like what Ime does, but playing devil's advocate after hearing the numbers for how bad we actually were at closing games.

Rockets will need to use Reed efficiently. If Jalen doesn’t play well, this might make sense: Play FVV and Reed together and let Jalen play with Amen Thompson. Amen works with Jalen better than FVV. I think FVV and Reed might be a bit short but they can make a dangerous backcourt.

In my original recording (the one that got lost smh) I think I made the point that GOOD midrange shooters can and *should* take those shots. Guys like Jabari and Reed can be money from there. But when you have other guys taking those shots it leads to bad offense and bad percentages.
