I am 60 years old and I have been a “Beatlemano” since I was 15 or 16. I had played some piano but it was 40 years ago. A few weeks ago they left me a keyboard and I decided to play something on the piano again and what better than something by my admired Beatles? Just a few words to thank you so much for this great, educational and practical video and for making it easy to play those legendary songs that we “Beatlemanos” hold dear to our hearts. Lisa, thank you very very very much!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Best regards from Barcelona (Spain) PD/ next song to learn, four years from now, when I’m sixty four 😄

These are all great songs. Let it Be and Hey Jude sound so beautiful on the piano. Obla-di sounds fun and cheerful. They all sound like modern-day masterpieces to me. Quoting Lisa: "The Beatles made the piano a pop star" --So true!

I was part of a ukulele group for awhile (about 15ish members of all skill levels). We did all three of these songs because of their simplicity. (and that our leader was a drummer in a Beatles cover band). :D

I love Let it Be, such beautiful chords. I saw Paul when he did his World tour in the early 2000s at Earls Court in London. I remember having tears in my eyes when he played this and also remember everyone singing along with Hey Jude. I am just about to start learning the piano aged 60. In fact I am actually waiting for my Donner SE-1 to be delivered today. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. Loads of good tutorials on KZitem and a friend of mine lives down the the road is classically trained and she has offered to give me a few lessons.

I just started watching this channel because I have decided to learn piano. I need a better outlet because my habit of whistling along with music every chance I get is really starting to drive everybody nuts. Not only I am impressed with your channel’s content (and can’t wait to explore all of it), but you in particular are just as talented a singer as you are a pianist. You have a very sweet singing voice, absolutely a joy to hear. You might also want to consider producing vocal coaching videos as well. Thank you for what you do! 😃🤙
