THIS VIDEO IS GONNA BECOME MY BIBLE LOL 😂 I hate having the same old greasy ponytail for the second and third day before I wash my hair 😭 Maybe it’s also because I’m not good at styling but these look so easy and chic at the same time that I’m def gonna try them ❤ thank you so much

Since I have bangs, if I don't have time to just quickly wash them in the sink, I use cornstarch and rub it in and it absorbs the oil just like dry shampoo!

simply wash it with soap every evening before going to bed. it dries up overnight, so you have a clean hairbrush to brush your hair after waking up

Truthfully, it’s just the same as any other technique to apply pressure to the scalp for blood flow. Make sure your scalp has some oil on it, and then wash your hair. Try to keep everything you use on your scalp as clean as possible, and if you do it after showering then you can use serums on the scalp for help with the slick. And if you are prone to folliculitis, try nickel-free shampoos if you have dermal sensitivity. If you’re more prone to flaky scalp, nickel can sometimes help. No matter what, dry your hair before serums+guasha! You can always re-wet the portion of your scalp with a spray to introduce moisture, but having all of your strands wet while you pull a guasha through it can be extremely damaging!

If you have straight hair I’d recommend using a boar bristle brush, it distributes the hair from your scalp to your ends so your scalp will be less oily. It really helped me when I had bangs, they would look so disgusting at the roots on day 2/3 and when I started brushing them with a boar bristle brush on these days they looked SO much cleaner and fluffy like I had just blow dried them. Even if you don’t really see any difference, the oil is still going to be distributed and it will be a good treatment for your hair (it will be easier to wash it because there is going to be less buildup too). I hope it works for you if you try it out!

This is such a cute yet informative video. Love it! I have a question: You mentioned that you can smell your scalp on day 3.. That's actually my personal show stopper for rocking greasy hear like you do. I notice that smell on the second day already... Do you have any tips for that?

Does the Sachajuan heat protectant have a strong scent or does the scent linger on the hair after applied? I get headaches and irritation from strongly fragranced hair products and this is a huge struggle for me when it comes to heat protectants 😢.
