Good to see you back out there Swed. I am curious how you found using a hammock this time around as it seems new (?); weather looked a little cool despite season. Great shots as usual, enjoyed the video. Too bad the fish didn't feel like participating! Getting close to 500k my friend!😊

Thanks my friend. Hammock is nice to set up fast during the warm season in my area, specially around water where it's impossible to find flat ground. But it's not optimal for me sleeping. I dose of now and then but never get a good night sleep.

On the last portion where you were rowing away, doesn't that take a lot of time and energy? I mean you row away then have to go all the way back to pick up the camera. Don't get me wrong, I really like your videos but these types of final shots just make me tired. Is it possible to use your drone to capture you leaving then just have it fly to you? I'm just curious. Thanks for your response.
@Swedwoods

Yes paddling takes some energy.. but running around all day on rocky terrain with the camera is worse. Shooting my videos is a lot of work yes. Drone would work but I needed the audio. The audio was the thing with that shot.

your back with some new toys , your set up is similar to mine , hammock and packraft gets you some great places here in Norway , still i love the swedish forest same but different , , just a thought ya might want to get a bug net and underquilt for the hammock , then you can use it sleeping in full time , better than the ground ....
@Swedwoods
2 жыл бұрын
I only use a hammock when it's really warm. . Like simplicity when hammocking is just one cloth with 2 straps. Then its lightweight. A hennesy with all the extras is not a lightweight system.. Bug net is on the sleeping bag hood. Thanks!

I really enjoying your videos. Love that way you did. I'm not a bushcrafter, but It's interesting to see other world. I'm kind of Hiker, so someday I want to hike Kungsleden, Sweden. So I searched something about hiking in Sweden, but there are many people said that there so many mosquitos stay around camp site. and they are so annoying. The Trails seems like where you camp. Is there many mosquitos?? if it is... How do you deal with mosquitos attacks?.. Do you use any insect repellent? or... just let them love you? I found insect repellent called Nordic Summer from Sweden. is it famous in your country? Thank you so much for share your calm and peaceful videos!!

There's nothing more precious than a tasty food in a beautiful natural background. You do it pretty well in plenty of your videos. Maybe your channel the best to truly experience it. Why don't you make a special camping foodie playlist? That'll be definitely a pleasure to seeing and dreaming of. Warm greetings from Russia. Waiting for another video. Stay safe ✌🏻
Him leaving the camera at the end and slowly descending out of picture paddling along really shows the effort being put in to create immersive footage.. I hope you got your camera back. 😂😂✌️

Darn , That Hamburger looked good enough to eat , now you got me hungry. lol Don't know if you have tried this or not. I do it for Pancakes and Bread. The easy , no mess , way to mix the batter. Use a Ziplock bag and kneed everything in the bag to avoid a mess. For pancakes , When it's mixed the way I want it I cut off a small portion of one corner. Then squeeze the amount of pancake batter out that needed to make each pancake. For bread , all of the batter at the same time , a larger corner cut off. A little left over flour on the hands to shape the batter and into the pan.

I know there are more advanced hammocks. But I think they are too complicated. Too many parts. I want to set up simple and fast with easy ways to do minor repairs. I only use hammocks when the weather is warm and calm.
