@@SteelworksStrength I haven't looked at your other videos yet. So maybe you've covered them already. But injury reduction and expert guidance for better running performance would be really helpful.

I'd argue for performing these drills daily. You can vary the intensity, distances, and volumes of each drill depending on the focus/goal of your session. For folks looking to sprint faster, these are great warmup drills. For long distance runners, these are a great series of drills post easy runs where you won't be experiencing higher ranges of hip extension/flexion. Not only do these drills open up the hips and develop overall coordination, but great way to keep the central nervous system sharp at the end of a longer aerobic effort.

@@SteelworksStrength1. parameters (intensity, volume, distance) depends on the end goal (sprint, long distance runner). 2. Great warm up drills that Improve both physically (hips flex) & central nervous systems

Got news for you the c skip you did are butt kicks not c skips. 🤷

Hi, Alonzo. Thanks for visiting our channel! A butt kick and a C Skip do both hit the butt so it is easy to mistake one for the other. The difference between the two is that a C Skip involves simultaneous knee and hip flexion, whereas a butt kick focuses solely on knee flexion. A butt kick requires the hips to be extended (the femur points perpendicularly down to the ground), while the knee cycles through flexion and extension. Happy to elaborate more if need be. Happy New Year!

I think mainly he just forgot to include the skip part of the c skip. But the motion of the leg I think is the same. It would just be done slower with a little hop or skip in your step as you do it. So yes his demonstration of the c skip was a little off but I personally still got the message and information and I understand how to include a skip when doing the c skip. I found this video to be informative and helpful. I've been doing A skips prior to this video but I didn't know much about B skips or C skips and I felt like he did a good job at explaining the purpose for doing each drill.

@@SteelworksStrength kzitem.info/news/bejne/u7CKuHqHp5p_jZw That’s a C skip. You just did a different form of butt kickers lmao. Didn’t even do a form of any skip during your “c skip”
