Thanks, Kyle! I try to sprinkle in these easy projects, while I am working on designing and filming more advanced projects. Trying to offer projects for people of all DIY skill levels.

Good video. A video on best strap set-up to use with a dumbbell for kettlebell swings would be a good video.

@@DesignBuildLift Great. Looking forward to it. I meant to write a dumbbell or plates for kettlebell swings.

@@DesignBuildLift I used your strap loading pin idea. Home Depot is out of stock on those washers if you want to add another link. I ordered 2-inch outer diameter since I have standard plates. Thank you!

@@DesignBuildLift Another suggestion for a video, using the strap loading pin, would be a DIY version of the Ironmind block for grip training. One possibility is using a cowbell.

I'm watching all these videos and cursing myself. Why didn't I think of this! I'm making this one, and maybe the cable machine handles.

I was going to do this, then went to the scrap materials zone in my city and got it made in steel for 5 bucks, painted it myself for another 3 bucks. 8 dollars total and it's gonna last for all my live and maybe more. This option is ok if you are in a hurry and don't have any access to pippes, but money wise do it in steel and you won't have to do any more work for it in the future.

I own 2” plates at my house. What washer would you say I purchase to make this?
@DesignBuildLift

The 1” washers I used in the video will work for you. They are 1” because they have a 1” hole - but they are actually 2.5” wide. Buy here: Washers (1" ID, 2.5" OD): amzn.to/3j25Ymn

Great video and ideas but I think the spud inc ones have tougher straps and can hold more weight than those you got there. Might want to tell people to check how much weight those cheap straps can bear before some idiot uses it for 10 plates and it snaps.

Thank you for watching! I really appreciate it! The straps I use in the video have a 3600 lbs break strength - so they should work for everybody. 🙏
