HI!! LOVE UR CHANNEL AND ALL OF THE AMAZZZZING PIECES THT U CREATE!! IVE GOT A BITCHIN IDEA! CLD U USE CLEAR PILLOW PAINT INSTEAD OF THE WHITE PILLOW, (in which of course, u paint the canvas whatever color u want, say…. Paynes grey) and do the clear exactly like u do the white pillow and see what tht comes out like!!
@WinterStromArt

I've been working on that for a while now. The consistency is very important and so far I could not mix a clear base paint that truly dries clear. It's usually yellowish or even brownish, depending on how thick that layer ends up being. It can only be transparent if the layer is super thin, and that's almost impossible. I might go back on trying one day, but for now I gave up.

All three are wonderful, but I’m really excited about doing the third one because I never thought of it and it’s such a great idea! Here’s my dilemma. I have a perfectly decent canvas that I did a hide and reveal on. That is just god-awful ugly. It’s totally dry. Can I pour on top of a dry canvas? That’s already been painted on ?

Yes you can. But if the first dried painting has some kind of texture, you will have that texture on the second layer as well. Just something to keep in mind

I have a new idea! I'm gonna take one of those bottom-squirting Dawn dish soap bottles and layer colors inside...then till it upright onto the base color, fill the cavity at the bottom, and then overflow it with a constant flow of the bottle contents...I'm thinking it'll "bubble up" the layered colors from underneath the base color...

I love, love, LOVE both the second and third ones… I will definitely try the second one, but I don’t think I’ve found the right tool for the third one. I’ve tried applying paint that way and just can’t seem to get the paint to flow off in a swath. The best I’ve managed is about an inch-wide flow. Any suggestions? Definitely learned something, and definitely inspired! Thanks Jessica!❤
