My friend just moved to Ontario from Scotland and said exactly the same about chocolate! 😂😂 Try our fudge and tablet too! (Tablet is like fudge but better imo lol) Btw, ask for a Scotch pie as we don't call them Scottish here hun, wee tip for you. Another tip, everything is expensive here for tourists so look for leaflets in your hotel, at bus/train stations etc for loads of great money off vouchers. I always suggest that to people coming over because you guys get robbed over here. Tourists shouldn't pay more than citizens imo. Have a great time! 😁💙🏴🇨🇦❤😁

I wish you’d watch the roads, Edinburgh has so much traffic! We went to Mimi’s to get something to take out in October when we were up, they were so big! We both got the same thing, so next time we thought we’d get two different things and cut them in half so we sampled them both. Food in Edinburgh is always fantastic the only disappointment I’ve had was a mince pie from a chip shop on the mile. I expected minced beef as I would eat at home, but I think it was a mutton pie. I couldn’t eat a sheep and was nearly sick 🤮
@arianaajbeaverhausen8175
4 жыл бұрын
I think they gave you a Scotch pie instead hun, mince pies are beef but Scotch ones are mutton. If you ever come back tell them not to switch pies on you! 🥧😁💙🏴💙😁🥧 btw, you related to William? 😜😂❤
@lindawallace5048
4 жыл бұрын
Ariana it had mince pie on the menu list which is what I asked for, but you’re right it was a scotch pie I’m sure. Hubby so wants to be related to William Wallace, but I’ve worked on his family tree and got back to the 15 hundreds and he’s still in England in Sunderland. Sunderland was sympathetic to the Scottish who came across the border, where as Newcastle a few miles up the road wasn’t, so you never know. Sad thing is I got into Scotland a few great grandfathers back, so he wasn’t best pleased! He’s got a Wallace tie and is always making Wallace plaques 😂😂😂

Don’t know whether this is true, was just told today, “veg-ware” type stuff needs to be done in a major industrial composter, doesn’t really work in the backyard.for ex. I could be wrong! If true, it’s useful to know.
@arianaajbeaverhausen8175
4 жыл бұрын
I just checked it out and apparently there are 3 types; recyclable, biodegradable and compostable. Vegware is fully compostable so that means it takes less than 12 weeks to break down compared with years for biodegradable plastic. Phew! Lol Edit: apparently it is fine to go in with household food waste. Source: greenisthenewblack.com/understanding-packaging-with-vegware-whats-recyclable-biodegradable-compostable/
