How high is your ceiling? I was looking on getting a simulator but my ceiling in my garage are only 9ft
@tarmactrr

8ft 6in.... It works fine since my swing is somewhat flat, but a 10ft ceiling would be ideal

Do you ever leave home?If so,how do you do it?So gotta get this bad boy.It would be 10 k well spent and a divorce sure to happen.hahahahThanks for this review or vid.One thing though,for aiming,do you have to do the aiming on the computer and then just hit straight(kind of like a video game)?
@tarmactrr
8 жыл бұрын
no you can aim on the screen wherever you like and the ball will go there. There is aiming on the computer, but that is just to basically move your view point around. You can still choose where on screen to hit the ball.

How you ever had issues hit wedge shots above you net and into the ceiling, or does your set up pretty much eliminate that possibility with solidly struck shots.
@tarmactrr
10 жыл бұрын
I've hit the ceiling a couple times, but it's only happened with a dead ball, or a ball that doesn't spin. This is because a ball with spin won't roll up the net like one without spin will.

hallo tarmactrr. Can you answer me on what software i need of the bat? or what followes when you buy it?... im confused about weather or not i need to put down another 2 grand when i buy this. just to get some kind of simulations software ? or is there driving range with it ?
@tarmactrr

The unit contains no software but will show data on the built in screen. If you want software to project like i am doing then you need to spend the extra 2k for fss or fsx software. Mine is the fss standard software.

how much was your gc2? Do you know of any other launch monitors i could use?
@tarmactrr
7 жыл бұрын
I picked mine up used with no software and then bought software from Foresight. It was around $4,900 IIRC. I know the monitor was less than $3k off ebay. I think they are going for more than that now, and I think foresight doesn't seem to like used ones on the market. Speaking of that I believe foresight is buying back or taking back all the GC2's from the closing golfsmiths for this very reason.

So you just pay for the software which is like $4k? I talked to the guy awhile back but I could've sworn he said he would give me a free month with the software. Not really interested in a monthly payment
@tarmactrr
7 жыл бұрын
Depends on the software. Many like the golf club are charging monthly subscriptions. The FSS and I believe the FSX software is a single fee. I know the FSS software I have is being discontinued, and it was $2,200, but no monthly fee. I'm not sure how much the FSX software costs.
