😂 I am a white old man. I was a therapist in a mostly black recovery center. A black man asked me, "How can you being a white man ever relate to me a black man?" I confessed my situation was much worse than that. I told him I had never been addicted. Then I asked him this question. If you were dying of lung cancer, would you seek a black surgeon recovering from lung cancer and addiction to operate on you? This honest man then said, " I'm beginning to like you." Jesus was a Middle Eastern Jew. Oh, how I love and trust Him. ❤

That's a flawed logic. Can a doctor save someone unless they suffered from the same illness? Can a person who didn't experience the holocaust, know that what Hitler did was immoral? A healthy person has a greater opportunity to help the sick, especially when they study the cause of addiction and learn from other addicts how they overcame addiction. Good thing not many think the way you do.

I'm 14 myself, but I just want to point out one thing that I don't think was mentioned. Okay? In this video, the doctor said that many atheists responded that they would not believe it even if it were true. That's the crux of the matter here, "Faith comes from hearing." an atheist could not decide for himself that he believed even if Christianity was shown to be true. Because faith is a gift from God, it is not a man's work but God's, because if it depended on our own actions, the world would be very dreary and scary!

And He then was killed and by His death we are healed. But He arose from the dead after three nights and three days in fulfilment of The Scriptures [that is the 22 scrolls = 39 books of the TaNaKH = “Old Testament” as the New Testament was yet to be written. Then following that event returned to Jerusalem to the Upper Room where HE appeared to ten of the apostles and yo the women and yo the disciples as well as to Cleopas and his companion. Excellent message! Another way to respond to the idea that we all have our own truth is to point out that if God really does exist, then under this theory God must have His own truth just like we all have our own truth. It then follows that unless our own truth PERFECTLY matches God's Truth, then we are incompatible with God (because of the scripture, "Can two walk together except they be agreed?"). Such incompatibility with God is the bad news since it leads to our deaths, but the good news is that we can be reconciled to God by adopting God's Truth as our own truth, just like Jesus did through His example of obedience ("Let not my will be done, but Yours"). Adopting God's value system as our own is the real key to salvation: "For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God." (Romans 10:3) I agree that becoming a disciple of Christ (who obeys the Father) is the next logical step after we first simply "believe" that Jesus is our Messiah: for His sheep hear His voice, and follow Him.

I don't think my father ever went to church while I was a child. He got involved with the Jehovah's Witnesses when I was about 6 years old. It was a major cause of my parent's divorce. 10 years later, my father preached at me nearly every day using their literature. He was all messed up with a mish-mash of Catholicism and the Watchtower Society "theology" along with diagnosed schizophrenia. The ONLY thing that saved me was Jesus.

"We sacrifice them for our benefit, instead of sacrificing ourselves for their benefit" Whoa!😮❤ The Bible says that there's no greater love than to lay down ones life for ones friend. Thanks Frank; you've opened my eyes.

Thank you Dr. Turek! I learned a lot from you and still learning. I consider you as my teacher in apologetics even though you don't me. I share the gospel with the way you teach. I hope it's okay. Again, thank you Dr. Turek!

I think Frank should debate that professor. Hopefully he would hear the Truth and be set free! Then he'd stop turning Christians into atheists.🙏

God doesn't have grandchildren. each person has to choose. God might be using that professor to separate wheat from chaf. if you let a strange adult change your entire worldview then you didn't know how to think for yourself (use your rational mind, which God gives us). the professor knows he's incorrect unless he's psychotic.

This is one of the most helpful messages I have heard. Something I will send to the youth in my church. I only wish the politics will be left out of such messages. It sours the experience for me.

I used one of these arguments with my philosophy prof many years ago at Kent State, but it doesn't excuse bad behavior by Christians. If we'd address more of that behavior, we'd have to do less arguing.

Dr. Frank Turek said at minute 52:01 he said that an impacted event is the reason the disciples went from one way of thinking to another. I do agree that maybe that is why they may remember where they were, but we also see that after all the times before the Holy Spirit comes to them in the day of Pentecost they still continue to hide; even after Jesus ascension.

Thank you, Dr. Frank Turek. That was outstanding. Praise God for you and your ministry, Me: "If I tell you a truth that you don't believe, does that make it a lie?" Coworker: "Well, yeah it... hey wait a minute! (gasps) It means it's a truth I don't WANT to believe! 😲" and then he started asking more questions about God. 2 Peter 1:16

The late Great author David Hunt said: Picked out of 100 pagan idols of Babylon known as the Moon 🌙 Idol, Allah is not the true Triune God of the Bible. Mohammed said Allah told him. “I am no Father and I have no Son” it’s written around the upper outside on “Dome of the Rock” mosque 🕌 in Jerusalem. Christ is my Savior how about you🙏🏻

I thought I lost my daughter to the world’s ideas , but I’m consistently speaking God’s truth in love. She’s slowly softening her heart. Recently she had a need and thought it wasn’t going to come through. She felt so bad. God met her need at the very last moment, and her heart was lifted immediately. I reminded her in front of her best friend that God was there for her , and prayed a quick thank you to God in the car. When she was giving me a hug before going to bed I whispered.. did you thank God, and she whispered back yes. I know it seems trivial , but hearing her say that gives me great hope. I Thank The Lord Almighty. A year ago she would tell me she hated that I was a Christian. I’m not saying we’re totally there… but it takes love, persistence, consistency, and long suffering . Pray , give love, and don’t accept anything but the truth with quiet strength. They’re watching us. If we accept the sky is green and the grass is blue we’ll lose.

Very good Sermon, you do receive your identity and it is receive spiritually You cannot unknow an event . That's why you cannot be a believer. You have to be a receiver. You must be born again. It doesn't matter what college. You have received power. And you cannot step back into The lie
