@@trainingjudo6245 we put the left tip on your belly button hold it there wrap the other end around your body twice making the left tip under the layers of belt pull it out the topside and knot it to the right side which is on top leave the two ends hanging, looks like an upside down v.

@@trainingjudo6245 Also for training some throws we would wear the belt like a harness start around the neck belt hanging both ends even then run both ends under armpits to make a crisscross behind back then come around the waist from each side a tie in front, this gives you the shoulder push / pull movement without ripping your gi.
