Agreeing with several comments below about the left side of the under-sink. This will be a pain if you need to get to the plumbing, particularly as you fixed that down before installing the right hand side. A removable shelf set would be recommended. So, the assembly would need to be able to fit back out the door opening. For stability, you could try a base that extends past the insert to the back of the cabinet (and if necessary, a piece of wood screwed to the back of the cabinet so the assembly cannot tip forwards, so the base is prevented from going off the floor of the cabinet). In effect, making a removable shelf assembly. Otherwise, nice job, especially the pull outs on the right hand side.

If I could ask you, what type of slides would you use to add a sliding shelf that will be mounted on top of a fixed shelf (if that makes sense). Its going in a walk in pantry on the bottom shelf. I was just planning on using an 18"W x 15"D x 1/2" ply. I will add a rear lip to keep things from falling back. Seriously daunting when you start learning about the different types of slides. 3/4" inch plywood for cabinet organizer drawers? I use 1" plywood doubled up. Have to be able to support the weight in case you need to store stacks of lead blocks or something. In case anyone didn't catch the sarcasm, you could use 1/4" ply and certainly 1/2" ply and had plenty of strength. And that would leave you with some extra space too, not to mention that your wallet will thank you.

Most garbage disposals have a built in circuit breaker that you can reset, if it ever gets tripped. Most also have a insert in the bottom for an allen key that you can turn to free any jams. By placing a built-in storage unit in front of your disposal, you're putting yourself into an unenviable position at some point in the future.

That under the sink storage unit, I'm thinking that is going to make plumbing repairs really complicated later. I've had to fix/replace drains and hoses too many times. Also, sometimes you need to inspect to be sure nothing has sprung a drip or two. I'd make the back of that mostly open for easier viewing and access later. You don't need a solid piece all the way across you could do it with two 2inch pieces top and bottom and still be sufficiently sturdy.

I just wanted to say that I had an original particle board drawer in my kitchen that broke for the third time and regluing it or brackets would not keep it together any more. So I built a drawer out of plywood. I took careful measurements off the old drawer, used the original glides, AND IT WAS PERFECT! Slid in like it was greased. Excellent video! I've been waiting to see how you were going to construct all of these projects ever since I saw your teaser video. I do have some questions though. How much a consern do you have that that your access to the plumbing is now limited (or at least a big hassle) because you would need to unscrew the shelving to get to the pipes? Also, as you were considering the build, did you consider any options where the removal of the shelves could be done easier...some sort of latching or locking system? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks

I would not block access to plumbing like that under sink shelf does, especially needing screws to inspect for leaks. Even our shower pipes can be inspected.
