Hi everyone. I’m continuing the Festool v Cheap Tool series this week with the humble orbital sander. Often overshadowed by their Random Orbital siblings, these simple sanders can be a versatile workhorse, and one that I carry with me at all times.
In this video I’m comparing my ‘go-to’ Festool RTS 400 to a very similarly sized, and specced sander - but this one isn’t an own-brand or supermarket special, this is a Bosch Professional GSS 160-1A; a Bosch Pro sander as the ‘cheap tool’ - really? Yep.
So, what do you get for your money, and what do you miss out on by buying the cheaper option. Enjoy!
