I think it should be possible with the right coils, magnets and distance between them. Then you just have to find out how much RPM is needed for a proper output.

on the other hand, the flux space is too precious to have such distance between the coils and the magnets. i mean one nut space is quite a lot friend. hits efficiently by huge bits. if i am not wrong, it runs as cube in the formula isn't it.

interesting time lapse video . You don't need casting resin for the coils or for the magnets. First start with a shaft, mill a keyway in the middle, then cut a steel disk (please don't use diamond circular saw blade), turn a round bar to make a flanged bushing, broach a keyway in the bushing & drill & tap for set screw. Cut a 1/2" aluminum plate into round disk, drill center hole to mount on rotary table to drill equally spaced holes for press-fit the magnets. (you don't need to cement the magnets if you have the holes reamed correctly to make a tight fit) Cut-out center of aluminum plate to make a ring and true the OD & ID on your lathe. Tap holes in aluminum plate to screw it against your steel disk. Turn shaft ends for bearings. Now assemble flanged hub to shaft then screw steel disk to the hub. Mount coils 40 degrees apart on an aluminum backing plate. Balance your magnet disk by drilling holes where needed in the aluminum ring. Construct housing to accommodate shaft bearings & rigidly mount the coil assembly. Use phenolic materials to secure the coils, such as xx or fabric grade of garolite. You have good construction techniques and I wish you success in this project.

hi, all the design I had building this generator is in the video. What do you want to know? Dimentions you have to think out for yourself, like what is the purpose of the generator? Or how many rpm is it going to make for thinking out how many turns the coils have to be. I haven't thought that out while I was building this generator. It has to make high rpm for getting a usable voltage. There should be more windings per phase.
